Ok so I recently bought a pair of them with the red handles and whenever I go to use them or try to cut something it feels really tight .. Like the two scissor blades moving together to cut something is very tight. I hope I'm making sense.. I was wondering if this was normal for those scissors? Or is it just mine? It's hard for me to use them because they are so tight & I'm not sure if they can be adjusted where the bolt/screw part is that holds the scissors together? I'm a hair stylist and my hair scissors I use can be adjusted by turning the screw .. Has anyone else had this problem? Can it be adjusted in any way? Thx |

Sorry you are having problems. Mine are not tight and feel like normal scissors. I would call their customer service and hopefully they can help you out. |

I'd call their customer service as well because I have these scissors and don't have any problems with them. I know what you're saying about being able to adjust them like you would shears but I'm not sure. I'll have to look at mine. |

Thanks! That's exactly what i wanted to know of it was normal or not! I'm glad it isn't so I know I can return them for a new pair.. I can hardly even use them because it literally hurts my hands after a few mins. I'm gonna exchange them.. That's for the reply! |

Well one of the main reason I bought these scissors was because of the excellent reviews! Before I was using kitchen type scissors.. Don't get me wrong they are the cheapest and BEST scissors to this date that I have ever used! They slide through paper like butter! I have spent lots of money on scissors in the past for fabric and crafts and so on! I love the style, the feel & everything else about the red scissors! Im just gonna give them a call & see what they say! For Christmas my DF got me the fiskars spring action scissors the ones that look like gardening sheers & there AMAZING! But not so great for cutting longer strips of paper! |

Actually, I DO recall mine feeling stiff when I first got them, but they were fine after the first day of using them. They rock; even cut metal button shanks & wire! |

I agree, they can be a little stiffer new but not 'hurt your hand' hard to use. I'd take them back also. I have 2 pair and neither were stiff or hurt my hand in any way. |
