I feel so good!!!!

in 2011 I decided to make toilet paper roll albums for my girlfriends. I thought I had all the stash, so why not. UM... that was a crazy undertaking.

I got all the tubes smashed, colored/inked/painted, inserted into the binding pieces, first layer of paper added, inner tags created, stamped and inserted.

THEN... nothing. Life got busy. Scraparea became storage. We left the church we belonged to. Life.

Then 2 weeks ago I cleaned the room up. 4-ish weeks ago I joined Citrus Twist Kits and now I am creating again.

I was stumped on many of my albums as most of my stamps and things were not the right scale for what I was wanting to make.

ENTER - Washi Tape, small stamps and cards and sayings for Project Life in all sorts of colors and styles and suddenly these albums are EASY to put together.

I am learning that sometimes the idea is before it's time.

So, if you are feeling bad about unfinished projects then no more worries! Maybe the right products aren't out yet!

one album down - 19 to go!!!

in my head it didn't seem like that big of an undertaking

I figured I would do them instead of Christmas Cards. At 6 tubes per album, piece of cake

I saw this YouTube video of a lady who did more than that and I guess I thought it looked doable.

Way over reached that

But now I am trying to finish one every 2-3 weeks. By the end of the year they will be done and I will be able to move on.

We shall see if I am still working on them in 2 more years *Grin*

I took pics. Please remember that I wasn't working on them for 2 full years. I don't want anyone to expect TONS of embellishment or anything mind blowing *Grin*

I need to open a photo account and then at lunch today I commit to putting the photos in here.

Wow, that really is a big undertaking! I wonder if you would be able to do them 'assembly line' style to speed things along? Good luck, I'd love to see one of the albums if you end up posting it to your gallery!

it has been years since I posted to the gallery, but now that I am trying to be a scrapper I think I will try to figure that out! Thank you for that reminder. Not sure why I didn't think of that!
