Any good tips on glitter clean up?!

I just had a box sent full of scrappy supplies and included in it was a jar of Martha Stewart glitter. Well that jar opened during travel and now that I've unpacked all the items there's glitter everywhere!

<groan> Oh no! That sounds like it could be a really big mess!

A slightly damp paper towel is great at picking up stray glitter.
Try to knock as much of the loose glitter onto a scrap piece of paper (newspaper, flyer, whatever) and fold it up to throw away. Then use the damp paper towel to take care of anything left over.

See things that shine on Pinterest, Instagram, and YouTube.

If it's on your table or other flat surface, use a lint brush, the smooth type, not the sticky-sheet kind. If it's on the carpet & you want to keep it, use a nozzle on your vaccuum with a nylon stocking over the hose.

Oh, the joys of glitter--enjoy finding it embedded in your face for the next week, too.

I wish I had a tip; that sounds like a mess. I hate when it gets everywhere. Good luck cleaning.

Am I the only one with glittery-scalped children? I thought it was supposed to be everywhere, constantly?

I seem to get glitter everywhere even when I don't use any glitter. Good luck

Your post reminded me of when I worked at M's several years ago. I always came home with glitter on my face from handling glittery products, especially during Christmas. I really had to think about touching my face while I worked. And the most recent story was when over Christmas I was glittering cards, I left the plate that had excess glitter I had planned on putting back into the container on my chair in my scrap room. A day later I noticed the glitter was gone. Our dog had licked it clean. My husband reported to me for days how pretty Lulu's "treats" were on their walks!

Gem Girl we are still covered head to toe in glitter. I've tried pretty much everything and I've just come to terms with it.My scrap area will never be de-glitterfied haha. It adds to my girliness, I feel like a fairy now. haha
