Do you blog on the weekend?
If you're a blog reader, do you read blogs on the weekend?
I've found that my traffic is very low on Saturday and non-existent on Sunday.
So I decided it's probably not worth it to blog on the weekend.

I blog all kinds of days...the only set day I have to blog is Monday when I put up a menu...I am in a lot of blog hops...and typically those are on the weekends...those get lots of traffic!!! Of course, I typically post to my FB wall, all the groups I am in on FB, and here (just started that) that I have a post up! So, I am sure that helps also. Hopefully you can get your traffic to pick up.

I've noticed the same thing. People are busy spending time with their family and/or getting some well deserved time for themselves. I do not blog on Sundays and I keep it simple on Saturdays by simply posting a newly made sketch every Saturday ("Sketch Saturday" is what I call it). It's a quick post and it gives people a little something extra to work with if they are crafting on the weekends. |

I only blog once a week now. (Friday mornings) I read blogs any day of the week, especially the ones on my blog roll. |

I read blogs on weekends. That is when I catch up. I use Feedly or Google Reader. I don't go to blogs directly though. |

I try to blog every other day. I'll post on the weekend if its really good. I will read blogs any day, since I collect them through my Google Reader. |

I only post if I've got something I want to post. I don't do more than one in a day but I might have 2 days in a row or weeks before the next one.
I might sometimes check my blog list whenever I feel like it if I haven't made a post in a bit. But I usually scroll through the blog list whenever I'm posting something.
So.... no schedule. Just fly by the seat of my pants. |

I don't blog anymore, but I do read blogs every weekend. Usually I have a bunch of homework I need to get done, so I'm procrastinating by reading the blogs  |

I read blogs through Reader, so I don't know how that affects your stats. I check Reader once a day for any new postings. |

I also haven't noticed a change in visits on weekends compared to weekdays. |

Ha. When I blog (or if I blog), it is definitely a weekday. Same with reading blogs. Rarely do I take the time on a weekend. |

i definitely - almost always - do a blog post on sunday for monday - that seems to be the biggest day of the week as far as traffic.
i try to do one mid-week, but since i started school, that's not as easy anymore.
i read whenever something catches my eye. i set up all of the blogs i follow on my side bar on blogger w/ thumbnails - i figured it'd be easier for me to see what's new and it's kind of an "advertisement" for those that follow me...
so, yea... i agree - the weekend are alot more quiet around here... |

I check my Google Reader everyday if not 2-3 times. I blog when to think of something or have something to share. I doesn't matter to me when someone blogs. I check the blog thread on my slow days and if I finish one I go to the previous day. |
