I haven't sb in 5 years so bare with me with all my questions cause I finally started back up this year as a NY resolution. I have been hearing so much talk about washi tape isn't it the same as a sticker border? What makes it better than the Mrs G border stickers? T.I.A ladies.

You get a whole roll, which makes it a good value for your buck. It's easy to tear, so you can use a long piece or a short piece very easily. It comes in a huge variety of colors and patterns.

Available in many, many colors, you can use what ever size piece you want, and it's easy to pull up and move on your page ( I often don't get things down where I want them)>

It is also different than the old border stickers in the fact that it is slightly see-thru

I like the fact you can lift it up if it wasn't were you wanted it. That is good to know. I just started looking and there is sooo many to choose from. Can you get them at Michaels? There is no longer SB stores near me just Michael's and Joann's.

I like that it is somewhat transparent. It just adds a nice touch of color and works well for grounded other embellishment clusters.

I agree with many of the points above: good value, translucency, repositionable.
I also really like that the tape is more neutral in pattern compared to border stickers that are usually quite themed and shaped.
What are you looking at?

You can get it at M's, but they have quite a cute selection here on Two Peas! I especially like the MME ones. The benefits of washi tape over sticker borders to me are: the translucence which lends really well to layering, that it looks great even if you don't get it just right (I don't feel the same way about sticker borders), affordability, and that it's easy to re-position. Seriously, it's quite a feat if you can use a whole roll... check out some of the threads on that!
