I've only been frozen since Friday, so I'm doing ok so far. Hoping to get my PL album caught up this week, so I can make some cards.

I'm feeling guilty. I signed up for a local 3 day crop in March and I had to order 3 albums. I have been so good about getting pics on pages I forgot to take stock.
Instead of spending $ on my adhesives I bought a big package of glue sticks for DD classroom.

I have a confession to make - I have been frozen but I still managed to spend $300 last month. How? Well, let's see:
1. CT kits (planned expense)
2. quilt kit (planned expense)
3. Trip to M's to buy yarn to finish a scarf but several other things "fell" into my cart
4. PL album and page protectors (planned expense)
5. Signed up for 2 classs, one with Shimelle (Pretty Paper) and one at my LSS
6. Silhouette sub
YIKES! Other than my quilt kit and CT kits I don't have any planned expenses for this month. Hopefully I can crawl back in the freezer now! |

I've been spending Christmas money from dh on dies (He bought me a Big Shot for Christmas and gave me a "budget" for die purchases) which has made me feel vaguely guilty even though it really was okay! That money's gone now, so I can stay out of the stores, kwim? Have had my hand out to purchase paper a couple times then slapped myself back, thankfully. I'm doing LOAD this month so will be using my stash...but am realizing anew 1) I have A LOT of paper! and 2) it really doesn't take much pp to make a page, does it? Set for life, I am! But I'm happy with the bits of things I'm finding/using in my stash--a little ribbon here, some layered Cricut cuts there (made from scraps), old buttons, assorted bling. Yeah, at this rate the stash will outlive me. |

I am so very proud of myself! I keep all my scrapping receipts in an envelope. I pulled out all of January and added them up. I spent a grand total of $9.68 on scrapping supplies. And that even includes a Mr Huey's mask.
Gotta love those coupons! I am hoping to spend less in February, but I have a free $10 card to spend before it expires.
Being frozen is FUN! |

Well, I did not do so well at staying frozen! It was all great until Friday when I decided to go see if A's had the Amy Tangerine roller stamps. Of course, they didn't. But they did have some other stuff...I used my 30% off coupon to get a new WRMK album (since I realized last week my only free album is 8.5x11 - which won't work for my 12x12 PL, lol. And I bought some KI washi and a stamp set. THEN Sunday I bought both AT roller date stamps plus a couple others on Amazon. (My name is futuredoc and I am a rollerstampaholic.)
The upside is: I have been using a TON of my stash up, and the stuff I bought is all stuff I will use often.
Tonight I'd like to get a PL spread done and maybe - maybe - make a card. We'll see how tired I am after work. I've also got to be up early to drop my doggie off at the vet by 7 tomorrow morning, so I don't want to stay up too late. |

Unfortunately, I did not do so great. Went to A's for grey cardstock, walked out with the Scoot collection, 10 other sheets of pp, and flowers! I did use my 30% off coupont, but still!!
On the upside, i have been making a ton of page kits for my disney album and am actually starting to put a teeny tiny dent in my stash!
I vow to go back in the freezer!

In January I ordered some PL and organizing stuff from Amazon, but otherwise have been frozen. Don't really need much lol and do belong to a monthly kit club. My goal is to reduce my scrapbook spending this year. |

I haven't purchased anything in 2013. I have an A's gift card that is burning a hole in my pocket though.
I'm also kicking myself because I had $15 in A's promo codes because of gift card purchased for Christmas gifts. Totally forgot to use them & now they are expired. |

Well, I was frozen in October, fell off in December and January, and now I'm back on for February. Too much stuff, need to use what I have, I'm sure a lot of you are in the same boat.
But there is so much more I WANT and my cart is full. It's funny, I can need another album because mine is full, or need more adhesive when I run out, but I never really need more paper (or washi, or stickers, or buttons, or...). Must.use.what.I.have. |

I got the same coupon as Bberry, so I'm heading there tomorrow. If I get out of there for less than $20, I'll consider it a win. Other than that, and my two monthly subs, I plan to stay frozen this month. I have to organize my scrap room so I can get crafty again |

Doing really well.
I had to go into my LSS to pick up the papers for my wedding invitations and even though there was a heap of new things that I really wanted to buy I didn't buy anything! Win!
Have been sorting out my craft room and have found a heap of inspiring things that I can't wait to scrap with. But for some reason I haven't done anything crafty in ages. I think I will start with one card today and hopefully that will get me on a roll |

I got a replacement ink pad this weekend, but that doesn't count right? (I left the lid off my other one for 3 days so it dried up) I have 2 more days till 30 days frozen. ugh. I get my tax refund on the same day as day 31...it will probably be ugly.
I did finish another LO this weekend. I have 2 more to do until I can "unfreeze" as well. The 30 days is going to come first though. Should I commit to meeting both or just the 30 days?

I think making two more layouts before buying new things is a great idea. Maybe I should say I need to make x number of layouts before buying anything new. 20? 50? 100? I easily have enough things to make a hundred |

I was doing great until Archiver's had the MME Boy Crazy and My Girl lines on display...it cost me $100. Hanging head in shame.
JeanneLove-I am going to use your idea and keep my receipts in an envelope so I can keep track. I actually did that for all of 2011 to see how much I spent. |

I need to join this thread. I spent WAAAAY too much money in January. I don't think I have EVER spent that much money in one month on scrapbook stuff! I just started PL, so I bought 2 kits, a bunch of different size pages, and ordered from 2 peas twice. Ugh. I don't even want to add up how much I spent. I'll try to be frozen along with you all in February! |

Frozeness is going fine
I'm keeping busy trying to finish up baby albums as gifts for a couple friends. I'm ready to be done with them, so I can move on to my own scrappy projects. I did have to buy adhesive, but it's on my approved list and I used a coupon, so that's fine. I really need to do a bulk buy of ATG rolls to both stock up and save money. It's on the to-do list.
I've also been busy moving about half my craft room, so I have space to put together and install two Exepdits (part of a planned mini-room makeover). My room just isn't working the I want it to, so I'm making some changes. I plan to list my leftover furniture and storage for sale to help offset the Ikea purchases.

Have a nice day!

Im frozen solid (although I spent $3 on stickers for my baby's album today) My only scrappy purchases since the new year were albums, adhesive, photo printing and paper/embellies for specific themes that I didn't have in my stash. ( Bowling, pregnancy, baby girl etc.) And I probably haven't spent $10 on those items total.
That being said I have GOT to stop spending everywhere in my budget as I am about to attempt to change jobs and stay home with my sweet new baby! Like the adorable St Patricks Day onesie I bought today. Cute but not a necessity. It said "I'm cute. Mommy is cute. Daddy is lucky!"
I have got to use what I have and save my money for the bare necessities but being a Mommy is the best job ever!!!!! |

Waiting impatiently for baby #2 to arrive. Managed to steal an hour after work to scrap. Using up my stash as much as I can, threw out my Archiver's coupons for the rest of the month so I'm not even tempted.

So far this has been great. I reorganized my scrap stuff and have been using things I didn't even know I had. I did order pictures and some DVD cases from stamping up for my stamps... Still reorganizing those. I really am enjoying this thread... Hope I can keep this up til April .
