do you use? I think I'm the only one who doesn't use 3 ring - But I hate the look of a binder...they are just too bulky.
I've been using making memories albums - I like them pretty much, but my LSS doesn't seem to stock them anymore & there's nowhere else locally that sells them. I don't love the page protectors, they are a bit thin...
any one else you can recommend?

I use a bunch of different ones, but I change the posts to the Snap Ease from Pioneer. (Pick up with a coupon at M's.) I like the SEI ones, K&Co., and CTMH
My main albums however are all WRMK.

Since I mostly do 2 page LO's I don't care for the D rings either. I love the CM albums but by the time you add up the costs of the album, pages and protectors it puts them out of my budget. I found that WRM has post bound and I have bought them since Making memories is no longer available. I found them at my LSS and Joanns online (they don't have them in the store) but I got a great deal when they run a 40% off sale! I also use the snap ease with them, makes it much easier than messing with the posts.

I love Close to My Heart postbound albums. It's the only kind I buy.

Close To My Heart, all the way. They are heavy, sturdy, and wicked expandable. I got 22 page protectors in one using expansion potsts. I highly recommend using their page spacers as well - my pages lay nice and flat and my covers stay at he right angle...no crocodile spine! Their page protectors are awesome, too. They re heavy weight and have a double seam, so they lay flat.
Not a rep, jus a satisfied customer!

I have tried a lot of albums and wanted a sturdy album that held a lot of pages. The best I have found for that is CTMH (Close To My Heart).

I have dozens of Ocean blue Pioneer albums I bought years ago every time there was a coupon. They're post bound and work great for me.
I also have these 12x12 leather post bound albums I bought at Costco years ago. I think they were 2 for $10
I don't use many binder type albums. Although that's what I started with

I also hate 3 ring albums and will not use them. My vote is for Close to My Heart postbound albums (their quality is amazing) or CM albums with their new slide in page protectors.
Cost wise the CM albums are more expensive, because the slide in page protectors are the biggest cost. Size wise they are the most compact. 3 ring albums are huge, CTMH postbound are in the middle and CM is more compact.
I just recently switched from the CTMH postbound back to CM albums. I bought some albums and page protectors during their annual sale (they offer 25% off everything once a year) and that made it a bit more affordable.

I love CM albums but recently switched to three ring. They take up a lot of room. I really want to go back to CM albums. Problem i have is i like to use pocket pages. I wish CM would get on the bandwagon and make pocket pages. Anyone have a solution?

I use the WRMK postbound for my yearly family albums. Love the quality and the colors (though there is a much better variety of colors in the 3ring).

I am using one right now because it's just Thanksgiving through Dec. 30 that will be in that particular album, I don't think enough for a 3-ring. I got it at M's, so it would be Recollections brand.

WRMK post bound. I've had trouble finding it though on J's website.

I started out with CM 14 yrs ago - I have several started. I still hate folling with strap hinge. When I swapped over to Makling Memories with the 4x6 inserts for some pics I did the most scrapping ever & LOVE LOVE LOVE not having to scrap every picture. CM doesn't offer that.
I just looked @ CTMH @ a weekend crop -took a little class on those things that sit on top of the page protectors. LOVE those. Couldn't stand the consultant!!!! SOOOO NOT FRIENDLY! She was rude to my mom & another lady as well. There were also NO albums on display there.
She gave out the latest catalog to everyone there... their albums were not prominent in the catalog...so I was wondering if they were even still being made.
No wonder my LSS doesn't stock the Making Memories - didn't know they stopped making them - UGH!!!!

but I change the posts to the Snap Ease from Pioneer
I usually get post bound. I get whatever strikes my fancy at the time. I have a few K&Co, Hobby Lobby, Pioneer. I do switch out the posts for the Snap Ease. I ordered a few sets from Jo Anns website. They are much easier to use than the posts. I have a couple of 3-Ring albums that I got free and I use for pages in progress.
CM - I like them and used them to start with, but found that the post bound are just as good and not as expensive.
