I need to factor in the cost of my shirt that I ruined with it. And dang it, it was a favorite shirt.

Anybody done this and had any luck getting the stain out?

Have you tried those stain remover markers?

1. pat stain area with damp wash cloth to lift away excess
2. rub viciously with stain marker thing
3. wash immediately

I find that works on most things.

Oh, that sucks!
Sometimes rubbing alcohol takes out paint stains.

Hopefully you haven't dried it yet!

I always wear my old, comfy around the house clothes when I scrap or paint- too many past accidents!

Gah! That stinks! I would try any or ll of the other suggestions. I might also try making a paste out of oxiclean and covering the area with it to sit for a while. That sometimes works well. Good luck

So sorry! Would that shirt look good if you just dyed it all red?

That is a great idea! Go all out, grab your favourite masks and make yourself an awesome shirt.

I spray thoroughly with spray-n-wash and let it sit overnight (or for a couple depending on when I get back to it). Check the stain before drying. IF it's faded but still there spray it again. If that doesn't work; sorry.

Thanks! I will try any and all ideas. If stain is not removed, I will be dying it red. I feel better.

If it doesn't come out, at the very least you'll have a new art smock!

We've had good luck with a five hour soak in a bucket of Oxiclean.

I scrap most often in jammies, so the inks & glitter glues just give them character. Along with the bleach spots from cleaning in them too. Hope you are able to salvage it!

There is a product that is incredible. It gets out the worst stains I ever encountered. I lost my house to a horrible fire. In this fire was all my scrappy stuff. Stuff that had various chemicals and the blackest of black smoke. I used this stuff called simply amazing. I found it in Kmart. The label reads as seen on tv simply amazing. It is amazing. I soaked the clothes for about 20 minutes and scrubbed this cleaner in the clothes and it came out in the wash. Just so you know it does not bleach colors. None of my clothes fadded or changed color. I recommend this to anyone who asks.

I used Goof Off2 on a black jacket to remove white paint. Not once, but twice, where I got freshly wet white paint on it off the door facing and did not notice until the next day. Goof Off2 worked well on the carpet also... I tracked the spill.

What a bummer. I accidentally painted on a favorite pair of jeans when I still had a lot of the Making Memories paints. I think it's easier to get away with wearing jeans that have a small paint stain than it is to wear a shirt with a big red blob on it though. I hope you can get it out!
