I have yet to buy a package of Thickers. What am I missing?? I do use alpha stickers, but I mostly use my cricut. I feel like the only scrapper out there that isn't completely in love with Thickers!! Lol. Tell me I'm not the only one!

Same here. With Cricut, I don't need to buy letters. And Washi hasn't caught my attention.

Nope, I don't get it either. Too many times I have seen packs of Thickers with the letters falling off and congregating at the bottom of the package. $1 stickers work better than that! I do have some because I won them at a scrapbook event, but I've never used them. I've been getting rid of them at garage sales.

I bought a few packs that I saw at Big Lots and TJ Maxx that were $1.00 apiece. I have used them but frankly forget about them when I now have my Cameo and can cut any size I want. I do have Lily Bee letter sticker sheets and OA mini market along with a few other companies smaller stickers. I find I use these much more making sub-titles and labeling than I thought I would. Love the Lily Bee sets with 8 different colors on one page.

Yeah, I'm to cheap to buy them. I have a Cricut too and the only time I buy letter stickers is for a smaller font and the square font stickers. I like to mix my alphas and before cricut craft room I couldn't get my font small enough. I have 3 alphas I use for my Cricut, that's it. It seems like they are so similar that I don't feel the need to buy more.

You're not the only one. I bought and used Thickers once.

I'd much rather use my Gazelle or my Cricut for my titles.

No, I am not a fn of them either. When I first started scrapbooking, I had the letter stickers and was always so frustrated when I ran out of letters for what I needed. Now, I have several Cricuts and a Cameo just arrived. So much easier to cut any size letter when I need it.

I like the IDEA of thickers, and i like the way they look, but they seem crazy expensive for something that doesn't seem to stick. I can always put foam behing my cricut letters, right?

Nope! I have one pack of thickets and that is only because it came in a collection pack of something I won at a crop!

With the exception of some really cute Disney ones, I haven't purchased any letter stickers in probably 6 years, shortly after I bought my first Silhouette machine.

Ditto Peasalot! I only buy the smaller alpha stickers and the square little stickers. I like bella blvd sticker sheets bc they come with a few different fonts and colors, and I like to mix & match my title stickers.

I usually cut my own. I did buy some when AC had their warehouse sale and they were 50 cents. But I find that I don't use them. I cut my titles from matching paper.

As I read through responses, it seems most of you have electronic cutting devices. You have a great way to cut titles. I use Thickers because my alternative is my very few Sizzix alphabets. Well, that, and I love the dimension Thickers give.

I admit it, since I do not have a cutting machine/system, I really like Thickers.

Alpha stickers in general are the easiest way to create words on my layouts in the absence of those other things.

I have a cutting machine but still would rather Thickers; I love their dimension! Oh, and my favorite...the "stitched fabric" Thickers from Amy Tangerine. (Sorry, I don't mean to be an enabler, but they are that good!)

I didn't see the appeal for the longest time. Then I bought my first set a couple weeks ago, and now I have...let's just say I have a LOT.

I'd say resist the temptation because it's better for your budget, but the truth is they're so much fun. Add colour, dimension and interest to most layouts, cards, minis or other projects. Ha ha, a total 180 from just a few weeks ago.

Go for it!

I am not sure I am in the Thickers Fan Club. I have purchased three more packages of Thickers than you have, over a period of several years, and in two of the three cases at Big Lots. One set of Thickers is some winter shapes, the others are letters in colors I wouldn't otherwise have. They gave the titles on the pages where I have used them some dimension, but I can't really justify the extra cost. Especially the ones I didn't get at BL. Those keep falling off even when I glue them to pages.

If you're happy without them, don't try them even once... I bought a set at Christmas because they were on sale and I had a coupon and they were the only red letter stickers left (yes, it took that many reasons for me to buy some)... Used them once and now I think I might be addicted Not even sure what it is about them... I have a Silhouette and Quickutz Squeeze and tons of other letter stickers, but now Thickers seem mesmerizing... Maybe they dust them with something or maybe I just want to be one of the "cool kids"

I have about 8 packs I bought on sale and they never seem to be the right color/size/style I need so they are all unopened.

AND I do not own any die cutting machines but I do have a lot of letter stickers I color with inks/mists that I usually end up using.

So while I think they are nice they just havn't been right for me "yet"

ETA - Oh yeah I only have one roll of washi, it is still unused. Guess I tend to miss the band wagons

I am totally addicted to foam thickers but I only own a few packs of them, with the exception for Pink Paislee's foam letters that I found on clearance sale. Thickers are way to pricey for me because it's not enough to buy ONE pack. You have to get at least two or three to not run out of letters right away. So I soon figured out how I could make my own with the Big Shot, alpha dies and sheets of foam.

I get not being into them if you have another way to do titles. I only have a slice which is very limited so thickers work for me. I got MOST of them on sale though, I think they are something that doesn't date and you don't need to buy them when they first come out. They are part of my style

You're not the only one. I've never even seen them (IRL) let alone used them. But I'm not a sticker fan. I sometimes use rubons or the computer for titles, and often hand cut them. Extra work I know, but I enjoy doing it and get exactly wthe size and font I want.

I've never bought washi tape either.

Like others have said:

I love the dimension
I love the print/color
I love the ease

It stinks to have to add your own adhesive sometimes. I just bought a bunch of the AC corrugated ones. Maybe I could cut these with my silhouette - but where would I buy the corrugated paper in matching colors? I wouldn't have a clue.

And I read constantly about how they fall off pages, so that makes me dislike them even more.

I have a cricut and carts as well as 3rd party software. I have a cuttlebug and a few sizzix alphas. But I like letter stickers cause they're quick and easy.

I'm not big on dimension (and certainly don't care for craft foam on my pages). I've used chipboard letters sometimes but usually try and tear the thickness in half using a craft knife, especially if they're not self-adhesive since I have to apply glue anyway. I also get more letters that way if I can get the layers separated pretty good.

I've never bought/used them, I use my Gazelle on almost every title. I could never justify the cost of letter stickers...but washi...that's a whole different story!

ETA: I do really like the look of Thickers, so I do copy the look with a script font and sometimes some glossy accents.

I recently got my first washi tape and Thickers in my CT kits. The washi I have used but the Thickers are still in their packaging. They are such a pretty light aqua color that I will eventually use them but right now I am admiring them in their pristine, packaged condition!
