Well, I just placed an order for $68.00 and the shipping would have been 11.45 but I used the free shipping code and it only cost me $1.65 for priority shipping. |

So you would have to place a large order to make it worth the while basically? |

I wanted to order about $20 worth of paper and the shipping came to $11.97. I just can't seem to do it. If I want it badly enough I will keep it in my cart until I have the $50 for free shipping. |

Thanks for the info. I've been wondering.
I never bothered with my cricut 'rewards' because I had heard the shipping was high for that. Then of course, the point requirements for stuff went up and that just made it worse! |

I only hit buy if I make the free shipping so I think I paid $4 or so for priority and it arrived today. I ordered Sunday night! |

I also always wait until I can use a free shipping code, unless there is a really great discount code that works out to be more than the cost of shipping.

That's exactly what I do. I just can't make myself pay for shipping.

I need to keep a lookout for the discount codes. I always forget to check my email before ordering. |

It's not worth it for me unless I hit the $50 mark for free shipping...which has been twice in the last month, but before that was last May! |

I, too, wait until I hit $50 so I can get free shipping. Well, it's $0.14 for priority mail and $0.85 for insurance so $0.99. I live pretty close to 2Peas though so my shipping may be cheaper. |

I keep my cart going until I hit $50 for free shipping. Sometimes they sell out if stuff before I can buy it so then it goes on my wish list so I don't forget I want it. |

My order I just recieved last Friday cost $7.97 i think...for $115.00 order...I pulled the trigger on the 75% off MME All is Bright...got quite a bit incl embellies...and other sale stuff...so I didn't qualify for free shipping. From my experience, the places that offer free shipping over a certain amount....it is just that....by total order...incl sale items. But as I said...the MME got me this time..lol

I just keep adding to my cart until I hit the $50 limit and then its free. I wouldn't mind paying a little bit, because my nearest store that carried new stuff is either an hour away, or 10 minutes (and store has a bunch of altered art stuff I don't care for).

Its worth it if you spend $50 I can't justify spending $10 or less... that just doesn't make sense with shipping

Yep I wait until I get to 50 or order from a place with cheaper shipping if it is for a small item. I love the free shipping option. Miss the free priority days though- hate the new way (not new anymore).

I keep a cart going until I have enough for free shipping. Even on big orders I split with a friend, the shipping has never been more than $10 to Texas for me.
Last order was $93 (about $52 in new stuff, the rest clearance), and included an OA full kit, a large pack of page protectors, a couple 6x6 pads, some stamp sets, loose paper and embellies, and some inkers. Shipping would have been about $8 to TX. Ordered Jan 25 and got it Feb 2 with the the free Surepost option.

Well, shipping in the US did just go up, so I would expect the prices for shipping on here to be more too. I have only placed a few orders here since I'm new, but didn't think the shipping was bad, though I did place fairly "large" orders both times. Take advantage of the promos, it helps!

I have 3 items in my cart right now. . .2 pieces of paper and a roll of washi tape. Total order of $6.30 and the shipping is $6 something. I don't understand that! Is shipping based on weight or just that anything you order shipping starts at this dollar amount and then goes up? I really don't get it. Don't you think people would purchase more if the shipping wasn't as high? Don't you think that would be better for their business? |
