Just a quick question, I purchased the Anna Griffin Cuttlebug from HSN. I am having problems with it staying afixed to my surface? It starts out tight but after my first run through the machine it lifts. It is not a huge deal it appears heavy enough that it functions even if it is not solidly afixed to the surface. I am placing the Cuttlebug on a countertop surface.

Any help is appreciated.

Mine doesn't stick tight either but I just hold it while cranking the handle. Good luck & have fun

Same here, it only sticks for the first cut and then I have to re-adhere it.

I have a much older one and have the same problem. I just hold it down too. Hasn't been annoying enough to ever replace it, although it did stick better when I first bought it, in 2007.

They are really supposed to stick? Mine has never done that well, I always hold it. Huh, you learn something new everyday.

Thank you everyone. Since I am a newbie I was wondering If I was doing something wrong. I have no problem with movement as I said it seems quite heavy and pretty much stays in place, but on the demo they were sure pointing out the fact that it adheres to a smooth surface and stays. I am enjoying the heck out of it.
