We're only supposed to get 2-5 inches, but still sounds like the perfect excuse to stay home and scrap!

I am in the 12-24" zone and so very happy about it! A perfect excuse to stay in my jammies and scrap all weekend! Yay!

I'm in the 12-24 inches as well... but on the coast.. hopefully it won't be as bad.... but... I need to get to some serious card making... and maybe do some cooking... so I kind of like being "snowbound."

It does look "epic".. and here it is.. the 35 anniversary of the Blizzard of '78".. (actually yesterday, but what a week THAT was!!

coastal people have to be concerned about flooding because of high tides at the same time and the wind coming in.

Sounds like I might have some snow bound scrapping buddies! We are in the 18-24 inch zone and not coastal...I don't mean to discount the dangers so please be careful everyone!

I lived through the blizzard of 78! What an adventure that was for a kid! We had a driving ban so we put on our cross country skis and headed down to the grocery store (wasn't much left!) no power for a week, but we had a wood Stove and gas...we had a blast!!

I'm printing photos today - I can always scrap by candlelight! We were without power for 8 days a couple years ago, and I did a lot of candlelit scrapping. Stay safe, everyone.

I think it is going to be in the mid 80's here today!

Much rather have snow than this icy slick pellet crap we're getting. I just need it to hold off till my little one is back home. He's been sick, and I want to be able to get him back to the dr. if need be.

So jealous of the snow, not that I would care for the amount you all are talking about but a few inches would be awesome...seriously bummed about the lack of winter here in Northwest Arkansas...We've been experiencing more spring like temps and weather...not that I dislike spring...but its not supposed to be spring yet...stay safe and enjoy ladies...hopefully you all will get a ton of scrapping in

I would love just a few inches of the action. I think we are going to be just a little too far south. Is just one really good snow a winter too much to ask?

and then, again,, this IS New England... it could change overnight!!

I remember one time a couple of years ago.. they predicted a HUGE storm,, definite.. no doubt about it.. and the Superintendent called off school the night before.... well we waited ALL DAY for this storm.. and didn't get a snowflake!! (for me.. it's fine.. I get the snow days with pay.) but he will not likely call anything off until he actually sees snow now..!!!

I'd love a snow day, and Jill that really sounds crazy, but fun to be snowed in like that. It made me think. Would we be able to do that? The store is about 10 miles away, so I'm thinking food storage. Oh dear!

Well, snow is in our forecast for tomorrow and I'm planning on scrapping anyway, so it looks like I'm in!

I'm in the 12-24" range too. I have a couple of small battery operated Ott lights if we do lose power which I'm so hoping we don't. I'd like to do some scrapping and some organizing of my space.

The store was very busy. I went for food because we were low - not because of the storm.

Just an FYI for people - a blizzard has nothing to do with the amount of snow. A blizzard doesn't even have to involve falling snow, it could be caused by snow already on the ground. It means there has to be at least 3 hours of sustained winds at 35 mph or more causing low visibility of 1/4 mile or less.
I just wanted to say that because people often equate blizzards with large snowstorms and that's not the case.

My son's college has called and cancelled afternoon classes for tomorrow. YAY! He only has on and it's after noon. Of course, if things change they will call you back in for classes.

My daughter's school - I wouldn't be surprised if they wait until 5:30 or 6 o'clock tomorrow morning to disturb you and call it off.
