Although I often watch the videos soon after they are posted I almost never manage to use the technique right away. Any of the challenge entries I HAVE made were done using a previously finished layout that happened to fit the theme.
Do you think it would hurt to extend the open window a little bit?

I am always a week and a half behind. Guess it takes the ideas awhile to percolate. |

I noticed whilst browsing that a few of the videos have challenge periods of more than a week. Wilna's latest video goes until the end of February. I noticed another with a two week window, I believe. I don't know why these particular challenges are longer, though. |

I can get the layout design done in the allotted time for most of the challenges, my problem is I don't print the photos until I get the layout done, and then I just hate to order one or two so they get here by the deadline.

Good post!!
To clarify:
ALL the challenges is open for a WHOLE MONTH! So, you have a whole month to participate in any challenge... for instance, if you want to make a page for any in the mood to scrap video that was posted in February, you have till the end of February to do so.
Jamie chooses ONE winner for each video category and post it the end of the month.
I don't blame you if you didn't understand one word of what I just wrote. I barely did. BUT ITS A TRUE STORY. |

I wanted to post a layout to GG's fabrication challenge, but it is no longer a choice on the Upload page. I assumed it is replaced each time a new video is put up. Maybe I am uploading them wrong.

I think what Wilna means is that as long as you upload to the correct category (i.e. 213 in 2013) within February (or any given month), it doesn't matter whether you used a prompt from week 6 or week 8. Make sense? |

Yes, we made this change shortly after it was requested- and it was a GREAT idea! |
