I've been sooo excited for the Yes, Please line from Amy Tangerine to come out. It looked like it would be much like Sketchbook (which I adore), with similar bright colors and watercolor feel. (I've never been a fan of brown and earthy colors, so the last line wasn't as thrilling for me.)

And then in today's mail I got a Yes, Please daybook. What a great way to experience the papers before I can get my hands on the line, right? Only . . . It was very orange. And brown.

Aren't the same papers used in the daybooks? Am I mistaken about what the Yes, Please line consists of? Maybe I need to go back and rewatch the video to make sure it's what I was thinking it was.

I bought a bunch of it at Archivers today. It looks pretty pastelly and watercolory to me. The only brown I really see is a bamboo mat type paper.

No, it's a very happy colorful line. I don't like brown either, and this was my favorite line of products at CHA.

I didn't see her daybook when I was at CHA, so I don't know how it compares to the rest of the Yes, Please line, but I just looked back at the video we shot at CHA for Paperclipping.com, it looks like lots of happy bright colors to me.

Are you sure it's not a "Ready, Set, Go!" daybook?? That collection had browns and oranges.

You know what!?!? You're right! It says "Yes Please" right on it, but when I looked it up here, it says "Yes Please Ready Set Go Daybook." No wonder I'm confused!

Here's what I got. Wishing now that someone had thought not to name two different things from the same designer the same thing!

I believe it's a mix of the papers and colors in the line & some other designs and papers that go into the daybooks! I guess wait and see to figure out if your gonna like it or not!

I have the daybook and all the papers. I don't think the daybook is representative! The colours of the paper are really lovely. Pinks, soft blues, hints of orange but not too much and I really didn't notice a dominant brown colour (which is a colour I usually avoid).

What's a daybook? Is it the same as a day planner?

OMG, BG porn- awesome!!

tinkgumby- the names certainly are confusing, but I can promise you that the new Yes, Please collection is quite bright and watercolor-ish and reminds me very much of Sketchbook! I don't have any here on hand, but I did see it CHA and took a ton of photos of it in the booth. Yes, Please at CHA

I looked at the "Yes, Please" daybook at the Archiver's by my work tonight... it has a camera on the front. You definitely got the "Ready, Set, Go" one.

Thank you for the replies (and the scrapbooking porn, ha!)! I'm happy to hear that the Yes, Please line is indeed what I thought it was! If only it would get stocked!

Oh, and for the one who asked - the daybook I'm referring to is like a small (maybe 5x8) notebook with several different colors/patterns/shapes of paper in it. Sort of like a smash book.

Loved the BG porn and yes please porn

I had another look and the only things in the collection I would be able to resist are the ribbons (still using up my American crafts excess) and the sewing patterns ( is it only me that thinks it would be just as easy to do these yourself)

No, it's not just you. I am waiting to see how much they are going to cost. That will be the deciding factor for me.

I can't wait for this line, but I absolutly DREAD trying to search back and forth through the store to figure out which patterns are in the collection pack and which ones have to be purchased seperatly.

What happened to that scrapbook paper typo thread? This isn't a typo, but I feel like it should be added to that thread, it's in the same vein
