I need a post-exhausting-week pick-me-up! Let's focus on the happy, shall we? Tell me what is making your artsy/crafty/scrappy self happy lately.

- What colors are putting a smile on your face?
- What product(s)/supplies are you psyched to be using?
- Which layouts/peas in the gallery are inspiring you to get scrapping?
- Where are you finding the joy in your creative process?
- What are you excited about trying on your layouts?

As for me...

- What colors are putting a smile on my face?

I am definitely feeling pink lately -- bolder, brighter pink, which is weird for me -- but I also seem to be on a mint green/aqua streak as well. Maybe it's due to all the V-Day layouts I've been seeing!

- What product(s)/supplies am I psyched to be using?

Yesterday I went a wee bit crazy in the store here, but I am stoked about the new SC, Pebbles, Evalicious, and Crate Paper headed my way! This weekend I am also planning to break into my JBS February kit, so I'm looking forward to that, too.

- Which layouts/peas in the gallery are inspiring you to get scrapping?

The moment I saw this layout by Jossiah I felt a creative rush. I LOVE that feeling.

- Where am I finding the joy in my creative process?

The joy is in the surrendering, letting it all wash over me (including my mess). I've been a little too much in my head lately, so I am looking forward to spending some time this weekend letting go and just doing my thing.

- What am I excited about trying on my layouts?

This week's video by GG Elizabeth Kartchner features a resist ink technique that I can't wait to try.

Your turn!

Oh wow...a lot to think about. Let's see...

- What colors are putting a smile on your face?
That would be purple, green, and gold, the colors of Mardi Gras. (I just wish I could find them in scrapbook paper!)
- What product(s)/supplies are you psyched to be using?
Finally digging into Chillingsworth! I know, I know...Halloween was months ago.
- Which layouts/peas in the gallery are inspiring you to get scrapping?
I am loving Lilith's work. She always inspires me with her great eye for combining bits and pieces.
- Where are you finding the joy in your creative process?
When I "make" something. I made my own feathers the other day and it was great fun.
- What are you excited about trying on your layouts?
Hmmm...probably stamping. I need to make use of my stamps and try some of those techniques that I've been pinning or bookmarking!

Oh, and now I will need to check out that resist technique you mentioned.

I am being inspired by all the videos one way or another to inspire me to use my stash. Glad you reminded me of the resist technique that is definitely one I need to try. Bit messy to try at the crop today though.

- What colors are putting a smile on my face?

I am loving pink and turquoise color combo lately.

- What product(s)/supplies am I psyched to be using?

I received a box of fun from Two Peas in record time this week...lots of cool Glitz stuff and I have the new SC kit sitting here which I haven't opened yet. I have been using HS Color Shine Gold Lame and Mint Green (on your recommendation Jill!)on everything lately!

- Which layouts/peas in the gallery are inspiring you to get scrapping?

**When the board stops being so wonky, I will check out Jossiah's LO. I've been finding inspiration everywhere lately....I've been hosting a stashbusters challenge thread every week here at TwoPeas and add a bunch of layouts that catch my eye over there.

- Where am I finding the joy in my creative process?

My supplies are pretty organized but I love going through all my paper and kits and reminding myself of what awesome stuff I have. It really makes me happy to be surrounded with so much scrappy loveliness!

- What am I excited about trying on my layouts?

Yesterday, I tried the resist technique Jill mentioned. It didn't really work for the pictures I had originally picked so I just changed up the photos and I will end up with a pretty artsy layout when I finish it up.
I had all the supplies at my fingertips and I was so glad I pushed myself to try something new.

Thank you for such a positive post!!

- What colors are putting a smile on your face?
Mint green has been my go-to color lately! I love it paired with navy, peach/pink, gold, grey... it goes with so much.

- What product(s)/supplies are you psyched to be using?
The Sn@p! line has been so fun to use. I'm using it on a Disney album right now. Also, lots of gold. I love the HS Gold Lame, and I've gotten some fun gold/white baker's twine and a couple different gold patterned glitter tapes (for $.84 a roll at M's after Christmas sale)

- Which layouts/peas in the gallery are inspiring you to get scrapping?
I recently discovered Jennifer Johner's work, and my jaw actually dropped because it's so beautiful. Also, I watched Lynn Ghahary's Seeing Double video yesterday, and was immediately inspired to scrap AND make a card! I am not a cardmaker, so this is really saying something. Thanks, Lynn!

- Where are you finding the joy in your creative process?
Just having the time to create has been joyful for me. I've been really stressed with school, so being able to make some layouts here and there has helped so much. It's an immediate mood lifter. I've also enjoyed seeing all the beautiful new product come out and what the scrappers on the blogs I follow (and on here) do with it.

- What are you excited about trying on your layouts?
I've been trying to incorporate a few trends here and there on my layouts, even though I'm using old product (de-stashing!). It's amazing how some triangles, arrows, misting, etc. can update the look of some old products.

- What colors are putting a smile on your face? This week I am grooving on yellow and gray!

- What product(s)/supplies are you psyched to be using?
Chevron paper - Which layouts/peas in the gallery are inspiring you to get scrapping? I haven't been to the gallery this week-- but I will get there today!
- Where are you finding the joy in your creative process? Handwriting journaling
- What are you excited about trying on your layouts? Ink droplets

- What colors are putting a smile on your face? Right now I would say aqua/teal and a lot of things. Aqua and brown. Aqua and red. A bluer aqua and pink.

- What product(s)/supplies are you psyched to be using? I am not ready to buy the new stuff yet because I've got a lot of Christmas photos that I want to work on. But I'm looking forward to getting some holiday lines. I have my ideas of which ones, but I kind of have to see what my LSS has. But I've actually decided to work on Winterfest 2013 cards for right now.

- Which layouts/peas in the gallery are inspiring you to get scrapping? It's not like I needed inspiration to "get" scrapping, I have so many pictures it's only a matter of a spending freeze that has kept me from scrapping every day. But, the very next layout I will do is inspired by
Six Days of Disney, which Nancy Damiano posted Thursday in Scrap Your Stash.

- Where are you finding the joy in your creative process? I am scrapping pictures of my trip to see my grandchildren, which always gives me joy.

- What are you excited about trying on your layouts? The next layout I do, "A Week in Review" will summarize a vacation I took in December. I have committed myself to a huge undertaking with this vacation, which is to do traditional scrapbook pages about each and everything I did on this vacation, and in most cases, additional pages for one or both grandchildren. But, I have bookmarked Nancy Damiano's video not just to scrap the layout she presented, but also because her video showed an approach I like very much for scrapping a vacation. Any vacations or other photo-intensive events that come about in 2013 or later, I look forward to trying to scrap that way instead.

What colors are putting a smile on your face? Mint, Pink and Green. I know Vellum is not a color but Vellum

What products or supplies are you psyched about using? My Minds eye Collectible, My Handmade vellum flowers, Glitz Uncharted Water.

Which Lyouts/Peas in the gallery are inspiring you to get scrapping? YOU-Jill Supernatural Pie , This Layout by Valfm66 NJ 40N 74W and this one by Lilith Eckels Your best forever favorite

Where are you finding the joy in your creatve process? My falls in line with Jills. I have made a resolution to get out of my head. Stop worrying about what people think. Do what I love without so much ahhh! Or Ugh!. I am making pages for my moms birthday and I know she will not care if I have a little trapped white space or if my handwriting is messy.

What techniques are you excited about trying on your layouts? The first one is beyond simple but I have never been a big "stamper" but the video for "Scrap your Stash" has inspired me to get out my shoe box of stamps. Second- I want to try painting with mists.

Wow that was alot. Lol. I think I am going to write these questions down in my creative prompts notebook and try to answer them weekly.

Great post Jill

- What colors are putting a smile on your face?
Reds and oranges. Not sure why. Maybe it's all the white outside.

- What product(s)/supplies are you psyched to be using?
I've been loving the Elle's studio stamps I recently bought. They are fun to play with. I love new stamps.

- Which layouts/peas in the gallery are inspiring you to get scrapping?
Nancy's Scrap your Stash video this week. It was great timing as I was about to get started on some stories I wanted in divided page protectors... and finished them all up this weekend. That last bit, that's the impressive bit.

- Where are you finding the joy in your creative process?
Finally finds ways to include lots of little details without overwhelming my scrapbooks.

- What are you excited about trying on your layouts?
I'd like to be excited about some new papers. I'm nearly out of patterned paper and need to go shopping soon! I'm just playing the waiting game now...

I also liked the technique that Elizabeth Kartchner, but don't have anything to do heat embossing. I got rid of a lot of that stuff years ago (it was either that or get rid of my daughter, but you aren't allowed to sell children on eBay). I tend to keep my crafty stuff to a minimum since I don't have a lot of room.

Thanks JIll for this happy post. I needed it today after attending a funeral. The only question I can answer right now is LO in the gallery that inspires me and it would be this one by queen_of_paper

- What colors are putting a smile on your face? I am loving the pinks, aquas, and slightly more intense ombre tones of several of the new lines out from CHA. Also loving those same colors WITH navy!

-What product(s)/supplies are you psyched to be using? I have been having lots of fun with brand new Maggie Holmes, Amy Tangerine Yes Please, Dear Lizzy Lucky Charm, and Studio Calico Sundrifter.

- Which layouts/peas in the gallery are inspiring you to get scrapping? Love this beautiful layout from Naomi Atkins "Smitten"

- Where are you finding the joy in your creative process? I am in love with the new trends in color and texture and layering--that has always been something I love and the gallery here is FULL of wonderful examples of this. Makes me very happy!

- What are you excited about trying on your layouts? I have an abundance of stamps in my stash, but rarely use them because I never seem to get a "perfect" impression---stamp challenged I guess! But I am seeing lots of less than perfect stamping on beautiful pages, so I am going to try to include more stamping in my own work.
