After looking at this thread about IKEA's Raskog cart & Antonius tray, I decided to purchase the Antonius trays for my PL journaling cards. But the 3x4 journaling cards don't fit! They're just a tad small. The cards from BH's kits are ok since they're not true 3x4's (but I only own the grid cards). Everything else that I have don't fit. What a bummer! I refuse to go through each card & trim them down because then there will be a lot of gap when they're in the page protectors. I guess I need to find another storage solution now. Do you have any suggestions (preferably something similar to the Antonius tray)? TIA

Try "Close to my heart" medium storage container

I don't know how to link it from my phone but it seems to work well....

I use a 2.5L Really Useful Box. It is like a tray with an insert which has 4 compartments that are 3" wide (I think they are 3x3 square) and one compartment that is 6" wide. The cards don't lay down in them and the box won't close but I like vertical storage and the ability to flip through. I can take a picture if you want. I have a core kit in one, but SS and other cut aparts in the other and they fit.

Here is a link. Randomly I can only find them on UK sites but I bought mine at Office Depot in the US.

Jennifer McGuire blogged about storage today and she showed a really cute metal divided unit as well but it is probably more suited to desktop storage. The company has free shipping for a few more hours today 2/9.

You can buy the empty trays that come with the project life kits from Becky Higgins there $5 on amazon, you can also buy an empty box too like the project life kits come in! I suggest buying those trays because you already know that they will fit your cards! I have one and store NON- becky Higgins journaling cards in them and they all fit perfectly the 4x6, 2x3 etc. guess the only thing you might not like about it is that the cards would be stored laying flat instead of standing up right where you could flip throught! Although I'm sure you could store them that way if you wanted to it would fit standing up and the base is thick enought that it would hold them! So far that seems to be the best solution I have found! Another idea would be to look for a desk drawer, kitchen drawer organizer or other plastic/acrylic organizers! I'm not sure if you have a container store near you but they have all that kind of stuff and I'm almost positive you will find something there .. Or go online to containerstore.com I mean the store is huge and all they sell is containers to organize things! It's a home organizational store! Good luck

I have seen people store the cards standing up in a BH tray but I am not sure it will fit in a Raskog. I didn't like it because there is a lot of wastes space between the "holes" and I felt like it took too many cards to get them to stand upright because the holes are larger. See what works!

I just saw a video on YouTube .. Someone bought a clear container down the shoe/ closet storage isle @target & it fits all the project life cards perfect as well as stamps, 6x6 pads, etc. Ill try to post the link! I can't get the link because I'm on my iPad it just takes me to my YouTube app! But go to YouTube and search "project life style storage" and it should be the first one or two videos that come up! The you tubers name is scrapsofmine.. HTH

What's funny is I was gonna suggest those exact containers because I own a few like that from target that I have used for my make up storage .. But I didn't mention it because I wasn't sure if they would fit and I forgot where I bought them from lol

I took a photo of the tray that I have but I'm using my iPad and have no idea how to add the photo..I tried copying and pasting and that didn't work.. Or clicking on the add image option on the thread! So if you know I can send you a picture! Anyways the one I have fits the 3x4 cards in the divided sections perfect (i just tested BH & regular cards) either up right to flip thought or laying down flat! You can also store 4x6 in the middle long section standing up as well as 6x6 pads, embellishments, stamps, etc. there's a few different styles and can be found at target down the closet/ shoe storage isle incase you needed to know AGAIN lol.. The name of it is called 6- section organizing tray! The dimensions are 11 3/4 in L x 11 3/4 in W x 1 5/8 In H .. I'm not sure if it will fit in the ikea cart but there's the dimensions so you can measure it! As i said before there's other ones available as well

I had the same experience and switched to this PL storage idea from IKEA

The two small boxes hold 3 x4 cards. The large box holds 4 x 6 cards. What looks like a lid lifts off and is a great little tray. All of the items fit nicely into the IKEA cart with a bit of room at the back to hold 6 x 12 items and tiny bit at the side.

My first attempt at posting a link to IKEA worked, but my attempt to add a photo from my computer did not. If anyone is willing to share tips on how to add a photo, I'd be happy to post a picture with supplies and set-up.

Thank-you!

Jennifer,
Is this the Target six bin tray?
Do you mind posting a picture of the one who have? I just realized you said it was clear in an earlier post.

More great ideas! I'll be going to Target soon so I'm definitely going to check them out. And I may be going to IKEA later this month so that FÖRHÖJA is on my watch list, also. For the time being, I'm using the boxes that my Starbucks Verismo pods came in. They fit both 3x4's and 4x6's perfectly. Thanks a bunch, ladies!

I decided to purchase the Antonius trays for my PL journaling cards. But the 3x4 journaling cards don't fit! They're just a tad small.

I just bought 4 of those trays this weekend for my journaling cards & was disappointed, too when I saw they didn't fit right They have to be turned a little bit in order to fit properly. So now I'm trying to think of other ways I can use these trays in my scraproom.....anyone use them for storing other things? I don't wanna drive all the way back to Ikea (an hour away) just to return 4 $3.00 trays.

Benita, I've decided to use one --I bought two-- for my mists. It fits quite a lot and my stash doesn't even fill it up half way. I may use the other side for my stickles.

Jennifer, can you upload to your gallery? There should be an Upload icon on the bottom of the screen. I don't think there's a way to attach a link from the iPad/iPhone but if you can write down the URL, we can copy & paste that into our browser. You can also just say "the photo's in my gallery" and we'll just click to see your gallery.

I went to SuperTarget and found the one Jennifer has - I think. It really is called "6-Section Organizing Tray", made of "durable clear finish".

It's a plain little thing, I probably wouldn't have noticed if I wasn't searching for it. There's not any brand or logo label on it, only tag with name and barcode on the bottom. They also had a three compartment bin.

Bar-code is 0_18643-25104-8. I'm not sure if the first and last numbers matter, they're outside width of bar-code.

I was at an older SuperTarget, it hasn't been renovated in years. It was on aisle with hangers, and closet gadgets, on the same side of store as office supplies. It's the opposite side of store from Rubbermaid, storage bins, baskets.

Another plus, it fits inside jet-max drawers with about 1.5" leftover.

Thanks Jennifer for telling us about this.

I have the clear 3-compartment bin from Target - I watched the same video as Jennifer and ran out to get it. Its a little more than I wanted to spend ($9) but I love it!
