I agree. I tried to like them, I really did, but I think they are way too annoying. I'd much rather have the old videos back where they went through the warehouse to show new product and presented it in a more professional manner. | |

I love watching what the peanut ordered... But, I do agree the way they go about it can be a little bit annoying! If they would just do a normal video showing the customers order I think it would be more pleasant to watch! Like the very first video they made was great! I love the workers that do the videos and its nothing against them I just wish they weren't so goofy while presenting the products!! I have gotten shopping ideas from orders because you can really see what a product looks like vs. looking at a photo of it... I order here so much I'm waiting for my order to pop up.. Ill be twopeas famous LOL |

Here's why I don't really care for them:
You only get to see what THAT pea ordered....and if she didn't order the entire line, then you miss getting to see that. I wanna see ALL of a line...not just a few pieces here and there.
AND, I want to know WHICH pea ordered it. They say her name....that doesn't mean anything to me....I want her PEA name. I know y'all by your screen name, not necessarily by your REAL name. <giggle> |

I will agree that they are funny but a bit OVER exaggerated. And, I also agree that I liked the walks where I got to see what the whole line looked like IRL.

My fave was when they showed Amy Tan's order, it was fun to see her picking white pens and washi, just exactly what she always says she loves LOL

Yes, I'd rather have the old warehouse walk videos back as well. I too find that the new ones are over the top.... I don't mind joking around a bit, but being silly throughout most of the video every single video gets a bit much.
Also, I agree with the above poster that it was really nice to be able to see the new products in a video rather than just a digital image. I both bought stuff I hadn't noticed before and got rid of items from my cart that didn't quite live up to the digital image. | |

Imagine a display of an entire collection(s) with Kitty narrating and adding her occasional sweet comment(s) on special little details. This would be perfect IMHO No waste of time and a good view of related product...too simple?

I like the videos. It's fun to see what a pea orders especially when it's products form different companies but as they show you them you can start to see how they might be planning to use them together. Like one I remember the pea ordered a stamp set with a light bulb in it and also light bulb washi tape. I hadn't noticed both of those and it was neat to see that they might work great together on a page.
My only request is that when they are showing us the product don't wave them back & forth at the camera. It makes it really hard to actually see the details of the product.

When I was watching one of the first ones when they went a bit silly I honestly thought it must have been filmed during their christmas party after some serious partying had been happening... but the craziness continued and I don't watch anymore. I like the idea of seeing what others ordered, but the format isn't for me.
I didn't watch the warehouse walks because I didn't like that format either.
I would love a video where they had one of each new product for the week and we got to see them all on film. Similar to Jamie's CHA videos. But they annoy me because the camera is too close and you can't see the whole product or it's held half off camera. |

It's PeaNut. If you look under your username, you have a PeaNut number. We all do. It's like our ID number for this site. There are some Peas who have really low numbers (meaning they were among the first to join) and are really proud of them.

I'm not a fan of these videos either. They score too highly on my annoyance scale, and I miss the Warehouse Walks also!

I've only watched one, but thought it was kinda neat! I love seeing what others buy, it gives me ideas for items that I wouldn't necessarily know about or put together, and what the trends are going toward (I don't do trends, but I like to know).
We don't have an lss anywhere near us to go and look at the items, no scrappy friends here to get ideas from, so I find them interesting.
Though showing what the GG bought would be great too! I'd love that possibly a little more - especially Wilna and Lilith's purchases.

I like them. I like the fact that they're a little goofy, it appeals to my own inner goof. I also really like the fact that rather than an entire collection you get to see bits and pieces of a lot of stuff. That way if you see one little bit you like you can go ahead and check out the whole collection. | |

I liked the warehouse walks better too. I want to see the full new product lines, not what a random Pea ordered. Also, it's unlikely any of us would know whose order it is unless the recipient has an unusual first name, but I don't necessarily want everyone to know exactly what I ordered either. I'm sure there are other Peas who feel the same way. | |

I was watching some vids on You Tube a few days ago and one of the Warehouse Walks popped up on my suggested viewing list. I watched it...it was OLD...like 18 months old...but I enjoyed it so much. Jamie did a great job - Kitty too. I really don't like the new vids cuz I don't care what a particular person ordered...I care about seeing what I want to order from an entire line! I actually rather like the idea of seeing people's orders and of course the girls doing the videos I have nothing against but I just can't stand the OTT silliness and to be honest, I've felt like every week they try to make it worse and that really, really irritates me. | |

Thank you for your feedback Peas! While it stings a little because these are my coworkers and friends and I know they are just being themselves, I'm sorry to hear the silliness can be too much for you. We understand that. I'll suggest that they tone it down a little.
Also, we'll keep our eye out for orders where customers have ordered more in a line so that you can get a more complete look at a collection.
The concept behind the What the Peanut ordered videos was to present product in a different way to you. We show you complete lines in our newsletters, ad rotations, other product videos and many of our Garden Girl projects.

I like the videos. I like their silliness because that's how I am a lot with my friends. So, I kind of feel like these strangers are relating to me and my silliness. Makes it NOT boring. |

No hate to either Kitty or Lindsay of course! Personally I love being around goofy people and like to goof around myself. It's just that you don't really expect that much goofiness in a video about sb products... I assume most of us tune in to see the products and then the goof sort of takes over the whole thing.
If I were looking for silliness they'd probably be my top choice though | |
