I will be meeting my mom in Asheville this weekend for a girls weekend, and I was wondering if there's any LSS there? Any other recommendations? We will definitely go antiquing, too.
Thanks for any help!

There used to be a site that you could check for sb stores by state - maybe Papercrafter's? Several years ago there was a store at (I think) Cary,NC which wasn't too far fr. Asheville. Hope you find one. Have fun this weekend. Maria

The only LSS left is in Brevard (Sandy's Scrapbook Corner). It's about 20 minutes from AVL and is well stocked. Best attractions in Asheville are the Biltmore Estate and Grove Park Inn. Enjoy.

Although not a full-time resident, the only LSS I'm aware of in the Asheville area is Sandy's Scrapbook Corner in Pisgah Forest (about 30 miles/45 minutes southwest of Asheville, near Brevard) & big box stores - Michaels, ACMoore - in Asheville.
I suggest a tour of Biltmore House & Sunday brunch in the Blue Ridge Room at Grove Park Inn.
Have a safe & fun weekend!
ETA: Note Cary, NC, referenced above is a suburb of Raleigh, NC, which is about 250 miles/4 hours east of Asheville. |
