I love her layout too. But if I take on her challenge (which won't be for awhile, but maybe someday when it's long past eligible for anything) I will have a very different layout than hers. All of my pockets and envelopes are in some very old collections that I do not love but keep because they work for some things. It will be interesting to see what I can make with them!
Two of the last three times I have made pockets for journaling, it was with pattern paper one of those times and a brown paper bag the other time. The other was the only ready-made pocket I purchased recently. |

Good idea, Ellen! I know I've purchased some silhouette shapes for pockets recently. If I don't have many coordinating pockets I could always die cut some in a nice pp. Using up pp too! | |

Initially I thought "I don't have any pockets" because they are not something I buy. But the more I thought about it I quickly realised that I do have some... Are there any supplies I don't own?
Another great video from Jill! I don't know if I could pull off a layout that has so much stuff on it though |

I LOVED this LO and video! Now that's using up your stash. I have tons of little pockets and glassine envelopes from the first time they were popular. They are older, but I think I get it to work. I really liked the way Jill explained why she was putting stuff where. All around awesome video! |

Thanks so much for the positive feedback and support! 
I know the layout seems expensive, and I know there's a lot of product used on the page, but I really was just scrapping my existing stash. I have TONS of pockets and envelopes (I love them so and have been stockpiling them like crazy). To me, their true value is in their use, so I used them, and now they're more valuable to me than they were before. I am all for using what you have on hand -- you can even make your own envelopes, as someone suggested. I can only imagine how awesome a layout would look covered with die-cut envelopes! If you don't have a die-cut machine, you can just grab an envelope, open it up, and use it as a template to trace more. It's a great way to use up those paper scraps.

I agree a very expensive layout, I didn't recognise the stash being used but it looked like new stuff to me, I don't think I have any envelopes so I will have to pass on this week. Still a very good layout if you do have that particular stash | |

I have BUTTONS - lots & lots of buttons!
I would also like to make more use of my distress inks on my scrapbook pages.
I only seem to use them for inking edges.

I used all the prompts but one (I'm not into poetry and I like the idea of 12 prompts more than 13) and made a similar layout using up pockets and tabs.
I'll post it tomorrow. |
