As I was reading posts today I was noticing what PeaNut number people are. Most of us are in the hundreds of thousands. A few that I have seen are in the tens of thousands. Has anyone seen a post from an early Pea? Just curious.

Off the top of my head

Melissa (o-pea-gyn) is PeaNut number 4.

There are some other low number peas who post on the NSBR.

I am now posting to see how low my number is....been around 11 years, which must count for something!

ETA: Guess I'll have to take pride in my library reserve number, which is 186 in a huge metro library system with hundreds of thousands of users...of course the fact my last name begins with Aa may be the secret there!

I lost my very low number when the site did a "switch-over" in 1999. Made me sad.

Yes, a lot of us lost our numbers in the great board hiccup . At one time revirdsuba had a screen shot of some post that showed our original numbers, mine was 350 or something close to that. It also changed our sign up date. I remeber mine was June 6th. I only remember because that's my dd's bday, guess we weren't doing much that year if I was searching for scrapbook stuff, lol. If I remember right some peas even lost their user name so I was glad I still had mine.

Yup, the crash of ''99 did it to me too. I think I was around 800 originally. But I mostly am just a lurker...in fact until I got motivated a minute ago I couldn't post from my iPad 'cause I had no clue what my login was. Finally tried a bunch of stuff I thought I might have used 15+ years ago- and wallah! Finally stumbled on it!

Huh. I don't think you can see them on the app. I went and looked and was thinking the OP was off as many posters were in the low hundreds and thousands. Too bad I was looking at posts.

I'm thinking it's pretty crazy to see that there apparently have been almost 1/2 MILLION Peas who've signed up for the forums through the yrs! That's hard to believe!

I wonder how many of us are active on a monthly basis?

I have noticed how many peas have changed over the last few years when my own "attendance" has been spotty, I checked the GardenGirls the other day to see if any of my old faves are still there, and I only recognized 2! The sight is still the greatest scrapbooking sight ever though!

I pea by phone now and it doesn't show our number (or I haven't found it). If you have been around a while, there's an "Old Timers" board you get automatic access to. I'm not sure what the magic date is, but I have access. Guess I'm an Old Timer

Some could be bots and then there's quite a few alternate ID's (anonymous or trolls) people have set up, too.

But everyone keeps talking about that crash of '99....and I have NO recollection of that. It didn't affect me. I've never had to start over again with a new username, etc.
