What is the difference between these two? Is one better than the other?

I'd be reluctant to say one is "better," because they're just different from each other. The Gold Lame is a more solid color IMO, with a flatter shine & less pearlescent shimmer, if that makes sense?
Perhaps somebody who has project photos using both could reference a picture of each? Anybody?
At any rate, you should probably buy both....A girl needs a complete range of options, right? |

biochemipea uses HS gold lame a ton. I'm sure you could find layouts in her gallery using it.
Are you looking for something with a lot if shine to it?

They are both wonderful products, but very different. The HS gold lame is more opaque, almost like paint. And the color is just like, well, gold. The perfect pearls gold is much more sheer (as in you will still be able to see the underlying pattern etc of what you sprayed it on) and is glittery/sparkly and an old gold color, where the HS gold is more of a shiny color without little glitter flecks. I don't really have any good links to point you to, but I bet the other peas can help!
It would depend on what type of look you're going for, as both give really nice effects. | |
