Hi Michele,
Glad your kidlets are feeling better. Bummer about the tonsils, though.
I love quotes so I'm looking forward to seeing what quote you choose.
Hope everyone is having a fantastic week. I lost about a pound in the last few days but managed to gain it right back.
Haven't done any scrapping, but am hoping to fit some scrappy time in this week. Here is the recipe I want to try this week: Citrus Butter Cookies It has been on my list of recipes to try for awhile. I got organic limes and lemons and an organic orange today. If the cookies are too yummy I will have to do some serious portion control. Also need to decide on what recipe to try to use my Jonagold apples. There are several I want to try.
Hoping to watch more Glitter Girl videos this week. Also need to find a jar to rinse my brushes in and then I think I'm pretty much ready to play with watercolors. |

Michele: glad the kids are feeling better. I am so grateful that thus far our family has been safe from the awful colds and flu going a round; yes, the girls have had a bit, but nothing that kept them home from school and other responsibilities.
Leisa: I cannot imagine doing a real estate deal and not being physically present for it; that must be tough! Is this a place you plan to live in or is it for investment purposes? Moving is a pain, that's for sure!
Busy day today; Boo Radley has a doctor's appointment (shots), then our neighborhood ladies are doing lunch. A friend may drop in for a quick visit in between! Thank goodness our house is always "company ready"...no major clean ups to do before visitors. My bed will probably be a mess though as this is laundry day.

Hello girls
another rough day--little girl was very cranky and miserable and so was I. I just couldn't sleep at all...
Quote for week:
My thoughts:
I often so criticize of myself when I don't get things done, correct my kids right (correcting my kids especially in public the way things are nowday), too many other things that tend to affect me at end of day. After seeing this, I realize that at end of day, it is done. Don't dwell on what should have happen, what didn't happen but focus on what did happen for day--it can be such simple things such as hugs from kids, surprise visit from a friend, working on layout, completing one to do task, etc. Just be happy with that then focus that tomorrow is a new day to start fresh and be positive. I think we often put ourselves down especially with exercise, eating healthy, or gaining back weight.. we need to give ourselves a break. things happen that affect us. I know for me my weight have remain the same--I have been under alot of stress with bf quitting his job, tighten budget, then him finally finding a job but only part time, then main water pipe burst due to freezing temp we had, then more financial strain this month, then three kiddos major sick with possible surgery next month, it has become a stressful month for me that could cause me to overeat but I'm trying to to be positive and just take it one day at time and just communicate with bf about constant changes we are facing. That seem to help alot. with my one little word this year, is to find Joy again. It has been hard but it is slowly coming around. Sorry it is little long. lol
I have been working on LOAD layouts past couple days and will post them to gallery tomorrow. I am bit behind but plan to catch up this weekend.
Well, kids are calling me to do our cuddle time.. i'll be back on tomorrow hopefully little earlier.. Have a great night..

I love the quote Michele. I try, as much as possible, to live something like that. In our house, once the kitchen is cleaned after dinner the day is officially DONE...it is a rare obligation that has me working/going/doing anything other than relaxing after dinner. Of course, this is much easier now that the kids are older and there are no baths to give, school projects to oversee, etc.
I have nothing on the agenda today so I hope to get a little scrapping done. I want to prepare some free printables I downloaded so they can be sent for printing; I don't like to do it at home since the cost of the ink is more than the cost of sending them to Sam's Club! Hubby has a dinner time meeting so the kids and I will be having french toast for dinner and hubby will have leftover steak when he gets in. I also have to get to the post office to send a check to my sister.
What's on your agenda for today, ladies?

I spent my weekend working on those "freebie" files I find on the internet; mostly journaling cards but also some printable embellishments. I recolored them to my liking and resized them and started printing a few of the smaller ones at home. I will send the bigger ones out to Sam's for printing since to do so at home would use so much ink.
I hope to get some scrapping done today or later this week; would love to finish up my last SCUBA trip pictures and move on to something else. I don't scrap in order, so over the last few weeks I've done a few SCUBA layouts then mixed in some halloween layouts; but now the SCUBA pictures are so few I can see an end in sight and I would like to get there! |

uum what's happen to MONDAY? lol...
I swear i blinked it's tuesday.. yesterday was errand day of running around by time we got home with supper, bathtime, getting kids ready for bed, then working on load layout then i was ready to settle for soem computer time but boys had something else on their mind last night they were having some trouble sleeping--very fussy either they had bad dreams or wasn't feeling well... so by time i got them settle i must have crash with them. lol
Today's images fit our over eating habits:
I know I really struggles with food choices--do we watch what we eat or over indulge... how can others eat like horse and not gain weight while we struggle with weight and have to watch like hawk? I have notice that i really have to watch what i eat especially after 7pm. I tend to overeat late at night while watching tv. I also find that i want to enjoy eating foods, not having to limiting or even remove certain foods. that is no fun.. i also find that i dont' want someone else to say that I'm on diet, am i suppose to be eating that (if that a cupcake or carmel sauce over apple)? yes that has happen to me at a party by my bf and I look at him and say to him I haven't eaten all day since i was busy cleaning and getting the party ready... gave him the devil eyes.. and my sister stood up and say she can eat whatever she wants on this special day.. ugh I am not on a strict diet, just watching what i eat and some things I do eat in moderation and some things I avoid because i can't stop at one helping lol ...
i thought this was interesting.. we are what we eat... but i also want to add that exercise is also key.. I remember as kid I was always outside playing, running, etc.. and we had gym class and outside play now it seem that doesn't happen much... I really try to make sure my kids get outside play but that is hard when weather are too cold for kids plus for me.. but i'm ready for spring. going to take advantage of it while we can...
How is everyone doing? any scrapping project this week.. |

hi, everyone
pretty quiet this week..
I am still catching up.. i swear my to do list seem to be increasing instead of decreasing.lol
LOAD is done.. I did 33 layouts all together.. I couldn't believe it. I didn't do the last prompt as I wasn't feeling all that great.. I was having such migrance with servere nausaous.. not sure what was up with that. all i could do was lay down on sofa and watch tv with kiddos which my dd love.. she love to cuddle with me. lol so that what we did. so today was paying bills, then working on cleaning up which is never ending, couple loads of laurdry, still waiting on approval for building permit, and continue my to do list. I am hoping to do couple cleaning in scraproom tonight as it need a good cleaning and put away from this past month of scrapping.. I also want to gather all my 2012 photos and sort and put them in my new photo organizaiton album. I'm changing how i store them so i want to get start and see what i have already develop and what i need to get develop yet.
how everyone doing? |

I'm here....doing laundry, listening to Pandora radio through the TV, and working a bit on my scrapping. We are having a home based weekend; hubby is working so I have nothing but time to work on my projects. Church later tonight and dinner out. The weather is beautiful so the puppy and youngest daughter are currently in the backyard soaking up the sun!
