These are on clearance at my local Ms - $4.99 for a package of 5. I almost bought them solely because of the price - but I put them back because I've got Distress Markers, Copics, Sharpies... Should I buy them? And if so, why?

I picked them up on clearance a few weeks ago. They are good colours and I'm using them mainly on my roller date stamps where I want only the sentiment or only the date! Very different colours than the distress markers (which I also use for stamps) BUT I love the fine nib on my distress markers for writing, whereas the AC ones have a "bullet" nib that you couldn't journal with.

I also picked up a pack of the recollections brands markers...and doh, 2 were dried out...figures...

I bought them at Tuesday morning and they did not impress me. I ended up giving them to my 10 yr old. The ink quality was not good
