Taking a cue from my pal Melissa! Not sure if this will work, but gonna try.

We have lots more swaps & challenges being offered lately. A good thing, hain't? Participation varies. Nothing new there. But for the sake of discussion (also a good thing to me), are you partial to participating in challenges, swaps or both?

For this poll's purposes:
A 'challenge' is when we simply create & share a visual of a project based on the challenger's requirements. No projects get mailed.

A 'swap' requires us to make & mail, but also requests visual sharing on our forum.

Since my question is fairly broad, I would really like voters to post about why they've voted as they've done.

The vote button is not working for me. I've only just started attempting some challenges. I liked the ones during CHA where someone created a cheat sheet of all the challenges. This made it easy for me as I worked. I just printed the cheat sheet and made notes as I scrapped. I would love if we could have cheat sheets for the regular challenge or if someone could direct me to where they are all listed in the same place.

I don't do swaps as they require a certain amount of trust and risk that I'm not comfortable with yet.

I voted 'both'.

While the number of projects, topic & time frame weigh in for deciding to participate, I find I'm more motivated to join in when I have to commit to sending something to another StamPea.

That said, however, generally prefer swaps that are project-related; as opposed to just swapping stamp images, diecuts & embossed pieces. Don't mind an occasional of those, tho'.

Hi Daniel; what are you doing over here on the GS board? Nice to see ya.

I voted. Do polls ever work? I've never seen one that does.

WTG, 'Angel'! Don't think the 'vote button' worked for me either. That's one reason I asked posters to 'not just vote'. Thank You!

Your post is excellent! Yes! Swaps do involve trust & risk. 'Course 'risk' is always a consideration any time we share just visuals of our work--ala the challenge only route.

So glad you 'risked' sharing your answer with us!
