i have owned a silhouette for over 8 years now and i have never had this problem and i was wondering if any one else is having this problem as well-
when i open up my silhouette program and i click on the online store I get the message that the website can not be found???? has anyone else had this happen? I sent an email to tech support but have not heard back yet and was wondering if any of you peas can help! i need to buy a shape and make this project and i can't access the store---

I just tried to go to the store through my software and got the same result. However, if I go to the store online I can get in. Clicking here should work. | |

I did have that happen before - I just accessed the store outside the software! |

yeah i know i can do that however after i buy the image i can't download it into my software- i have to be logged in using the silhouette software in order to download it and since i can't get on the website it wont download

I am having the same problem! I logged into the store through internet explorer and bought a few items. When I go back into the software to download it says it doesn't recognize my user name & pw. When you get a response, please share! Thank you! |

On March 7th, I could not see all the pictures of the shapes so I emailed Silhouette America and received a response on the 8th and changed my settings in Google Chrome.
Today (3/11) I could not access the online store through the Silhouette program. This time, I changed the settings in Internet Explorer. And now it is working again. Good-luck to you all.

INSTRUCTIONS
It appears as if you may be having an issue with your web browser's cookies and cache. Please go to the links provided to find instructions how to clear your cookies and cache. We would like you to please close the Silhouette Studio software and then open your browser to clear the cookies and cache.

After doing so, please ensure that you have the most up-to-date version of Internet Explorer running. To download the latest version of Internet Explorer, please visit: http://update.microsoft.com
Once you have the latest version of Internet Explorer, please do the following to ensure your internet settings to enable purchases are correct:
1. Close the Silhouette software
2. Open your Internet Explorer program
3. Select the "Tools" menu and go to "Internet Options"
4. Go to the "Advanced" tab
5. Click on "Restore Advanced Settings"
You will also want to adjust the Security Level on the "Security" tab in your "Internet Options" to a maximum level of "Medium-high" (A level of "High" may prevent our online software from working properly), and adjust the Privacy Level on the "Privacy" tab in your "Internet Options" to a maximum level of "Medium" (A level of "Medium-High" or higher will prevent our online software from working properly).
Lastly please make sure you have "Cookies" enabled by going to the "Privacy" tab on your "Internet Options." You will need to have a maximum setting of "Medium-High". You may also click on the "Advanced" button option and ensure "Cookies" are being accepted. If they are not, you will need to check "Override automatic cookie handling" and select "Accept" on the Cookies options.
After all these steps are performed, you may re-open the Silhouette Studio software and access your online store account through the Silhouette Studio software in order to purchase your images. Let us know if you may require any further assistance after doing so.

They were updating their software but as of today 3/13/13 its up and 279 new designs. |
