there is a really nice archivers off of 65 just south of indianapolis (southport exit)...sounds like that is the way you are headed. Nashville, IN has a couple of papercrafting shops, mostly stamping, but it is an adorable town and worth checking out. Louisville has an A's, also.

Their is a scrapbook store in Lexington, Ky. about an hour and a half from Louisville, called Lasting Legacy. IF you are in the area, worth checking out. They are moving in a week or so, so call them before you go to get their new location. Have fun. I love to check them out.
Louisville also has A's and Dee's Crafts across the street from them.

The Louisville A's is my "LSS" so of course my affinities lie there, but the Southport store in Indy is a little bit bigger and gets a few different lines. You definitely can't miss a trip to Dee's! It's an awesome crafty store that has all sorts of crafts, gift items and home decor aside from scrapbooking (which they also have a decent selection of).
Personally, if you aren't headed to the Lexington area I wouldn't make the track just to go to Lasting Legacy. You won't find anything there that you can't find at A's. LL is much closer to me and I stop in maybe every 12-18 months. I'd rather drive further for better selection and customer service at A's.

Columbus, Oh area (Lewis Center), Scrapbook Art, 1190 E. Powell Road, Lewis Center Ohio. I used to co-own the store and now it's owned by a really nice lady. (not that I wasn't nice...lol). It would be worth your stop!
It's right off of 71 (Polaris Pkwy exit) |

I'm excited! I'm going to A's. I will check out Dee's also! I have only ever been to A's once and I loved it! |

You'll love the As off 65 and Southport. The ladies (and man) who work there are awesome! They are completely reorganizing the store right now and adding new photo stations so it might be a bit chaotic.
Have fun. This store is a few miles from my house and I'll be just down the street at a baseball clinic all weekend. |
Santa, for Christmas this year all I ask for is a big fat bank account and a skinny body. Please don't mix the up the two like you did last year.

Thanks, Jody! We will be there in 2 weeks. We are going to the Mid America Trucking Show at the expo center, for my DH's job. I figure if I have to be around semis all day, I should get a little scrap shopping in, too!
BTW: is there an arcade, go-kart track or anything like that close by? We are bringing our 9yo grandson with us. |

Yah, there is just down the road from Archivers in Whiteland called Rascal's Fun Zone but the go-carts are outdoors and may not be running this time of year. If you just want a game room, next exit over from 465 has a very large family center of games called Great Times. Or, about two miles south from there is an Incredible Pizza Company where you can not only play games but get a buffet meal, too.
Peamail me if you want to know where any of those are, and I can get you turn-by-turn directions (complete with landmarks to look for) between Archivers and there. I, uh, may also live in that area.

There's an Archivers in Franklin, TN, too - just south of Nashville.

I'm pretty sure the Columbus and Nashville the OP is referring to are Columbus, IN and Nashville, IN.
If you have any interest at all, Churchill Downs and the Ky Derby Museum in L'ville are really interesting. We have taken several out of town guests and the kids always love it.

There is a place called Incredible Pizza on the south side of Indy, I think the address is actually in Greenwood on US 31 and County Line Road. It is within 10 minutes of the Southport Road Archivers. Incredible Pizza has an indoor go cart track, lots of games, laser tag,, etc., my 9 year old son LOVES going there. There is also a Monkey Joe's that is literally next door to the A's on Southport Road, it has the bouncy house things in it and games...I haven't been there with my little dude yet, but it is always really busy, so the kids must like it.
Hope you enjoy your stay!

We also have a JoAnn's here in Louisville ("more" across from Dee's than Archivers which is a bit more down the road). Sadly all our LSS's closed up years ago |
