you regret ever buying? After seeing a previous post, I have to say MM paints and foam stamps. I only bought the one alphabet set, but I did buy all the sets of colors that they sold. I have only ever used them on 3 layouts. The only result I ever liked it was on raw chipboard and I don't have any of that. |

Just the other day I was going through all of my collections I have bought.. And there was a few in there that I was thinking "what the heck did I want this so bad for?" Lol because now I look at them and I'm like I don't even like it or I could do without it.. I bought a collection from websters I love websters but the collection I got is too vintage for my current taste.. So now I don't know what to do with it.. Same goes for BG fact or fiction.. I went CRAZY driving all over the state from joanns to joanns looking for this collection I think a total of 2 1/2 hrs of driving and never found it in the store.. So I ordered the entire collection from their site and I paid over $100 for it.. I look at it now and I'm like seriously? WTH was i thinking .. Yeah I like some of it., but not all and I certainly didnt need to spend that much money on it... I know a few things I could have gotten instead lol.. |

I regret buying so many Cricut cartridges. When I ended up selling both my Cricuts (I had the baby bug and the Expression) I had 25 cartridges. Ugh. I am so glad I got rid of the Cricut and went with a Silhouette Cameo. Makes so much more sense!
I was going through my paper collections the other day and found a few pieces from the MME Indie Chic collection. That wasn't really an exciting line.. I am glad I didn't buy much of it!
I also wish I never would have bough paper packs with like 3 sheets of each design in it. Ugh. I have sold a lot of them now, but geesh. What was I thinking?

Jjmikrut143~ I had to look up that BG line. It must've came out during my hiatus. I understand though what you mean, I went crazy over BG when it first was released that I had to have 2 of ever kit. Now it sits in a huge box and while I like some of it,the papers are the same print just different color.
Andrea~you were one of them that convinced me on a cameo vs. a cricut. If it wasn't for 2peas members I would've bought it because at that time I never even heard of the cameo. |

The cri-cut. Used it once and only have 3 cartridges and then one the expression and sold that. Only kept the original cri-cut in case my kids need it for school projects. My daughter is in 10 grade and once she's done with school I'm giving the cri-cut to local childens hospital. I buy all of my embellishments because when I'm ready to get crafty I don't want to fuss over a device. |

I bought a couple stacks about 15 years ago. Total waste of money.
I've only use a few sheets of each.
At least my DGD loves to cut them up and use punches with them. And her Daisy Troop likes using them for their crafting.
I can see how stacks would be fantastic if you're making a big album or several and want everything coordinated but that's not what I do |

Prima flowers in those bottles. I have bottle after bottle after bottle of them. At the time I would justify it by telling myself how cute they'll look displayed in my craft room. Except with the amount I have I'd have to make a shrine!
They were just so cute in their various sized bottles and colors. I've got to do something with them, because it makes me a bit ill knowing how much I spent on them. |

Flowers and ribbon, and a stack called Indian Summer, I only really like about 1/3 of the papers, if that!

-Grungeboard,
-plastic pieces (that you glue paper to the back of with clear liquid adhesive),
-flowers (some fine, but I bought way too many),
-most of the BG 12x12 collections that I bought (should have just bought some pieces, not the whole darn pack)
-chipboard (alphas, flowers, pages, random shapes, etc.)
-rub ons (just because they lost their rub-ness and I don't think I will be able to use them)

The only one I can really think of is my Slice. It doesn't cut precisely and I can't get it to cut cardstock. With so many papers being made in cardstock weight these days I can't use like half of my papers with it. I do use it sometimes to make titles, but I regret buying it because when you factor in the design cards, mat, adhesives, etc, I've probably spent $175 or so on it and I don't feel like I've gotten nearly that much value out of it. I usually find myself reaching for my stamps or, occasionally, letter stickers to make my titles.

flimsy paper stacks that are huge and have 7 or 8 of the same pattern.
great, now i have *tons* of the same print, cheap-a$$ paper i hate.
themed brads. don't really know what to do with tons of baby stroller or baby bottle brads....
and some of my cookie cookie grand QK fonts. while i love them, i don't really scrap anymore and mostly make cards. they are too big to use on cards. don't even want to think about how much i spent on those.....

Circut with about 30 carts. It never worked great and was way overpriced considering even with all those carts I still couldn't find images I wanted.
Sold it a year ago to buy my cameo, it was a much better investment and gets used all the time.
Another would be ribbon. Never liked the way it looked. Now washi is another matter, I love that stuff! |

Oh my gosh, I love this line. I passed up buying it for a long time but one day Joanns had it for 50% off so I gave in. I've made so many pages with it that I went back and bought both paper stacks again. The only thing I don't like about it is that it is thinner than most BG so I can't use it for the background sheet.
I regret my rub-ons because they go bad and I'm afraid of using them now because I don't want to mess up my page.
I went to a weekend scrapbook retreat recently and took 2 banker boxes of stuff I wasn't going to use. Everyone else at the retreat loved getting my cast-offs. It made me feel really good about getting rid of the waste. |

Flowers and many eyelets. I did use a few eyelets when they first came out, but I just have an overabundance. Same goes with flowers.
I LOVE Fact and Fiction and just used it on a layout on Wednesday. I kept it out to use again soon. And BG's Boxer was the first collection pack that I used all of! (Except some random letter stickers, the 'x' and 'z' ones, etc.) |

I regret buying just about all of the collection packs I have. They are great if you are making a themed mini album and want the papers to coordinate but I hardly ever scrap that way.
Grommet setter (used it on one layout)
Foam stamps (I have 8 sets that I've hardly ever used)
Prima flowers in bottles
4 bottles of metal embellishments from CTMH
acrylic stamps
I could go on and on. I think I need to sell some of my stuff in the next LSS garage sale.

A few more to add to my list
Every QVC kit that came with an album and matching embellishments
Fiber
eyelets
brads(plain ones)
metal embellishments I bought all the flat alphabet sets, square and circle alphabet sets that were eyelets. Quotes eyelets, also the ones were you run the ribbon through it and it came in theme, metal frames basically anything that was metal. lol.
buying 2 packs of paper collections with 2 sets of the matching cardstock collection
The old school MME that had matching frames and die cuts
I wouldn't regret it so much 1 I didn't buy so much and 2 if I could see some examples on how to incorporate them in my layouts. Some of these are hard to find on layouts to inspire me to use them

boxes of colored chipboard alphabets that I didn't like entirely, but thought I could use. I still have them 5 yrs later, just sitting there doing nothing, unopened.
Anyone doesn't want their grungeboard, I'll happily take it!! I love the stuff!
I'm lucky in that I didn't really buy anything I didn't like (except the aforementioned). |

Brads. They are so annoying. You have to put a hole in your page and there is a good chance you are going to wrinkle the paper. I still have some. I just clip the fasteners off and use adhesive to stick them down. lol!
Flowers. I have an immense amount, even after getting rid of half of them! Now I'm using them on cards.

The Making Memories Slice and I had about 10 design cards. What a waste! I used it a handful of times.
As for collections I would say Basic Grey Infuse. I ended up getting two collection packs and I am still struggling to use it |

OK those of you that regret buying "all those flowers ) can send some of them to me and I can use up some of the plain brads I over bought (and still buy ) for centers.
I don't have a problem using brads, never had the paper wrinkle but I do have quite a few.
I have a lot of stuff I haven't used often but I regret very little. may need it someday.
Heck I just bought some "Magic Mesh" - maybe I'll use it too. |
