I love the concept of project life, I love the supplies & kits used & the layouts.. But for me, if I tried to document my "everyday" or "every week" life.. I would be bored or have nothing that I would really wanna document or my album would become very repetitive. Then it would turn into me forcing myself to "find" things to do or take photos of & so on.. That's not enjoyable anymore!
So I have found a solution & am soo happy I did.. Because as I said I love creating PL themed layouts! What I do is similar to a monthly PL album.. Ill print my photos and create 2-4 pages for every month.. Highlighting the exciting and fun moments as well as things I wanna remember.. Then if their was a special occasion or event in that month.. Ill do a 2 page spread (maybe more) just on that day! I fill those pages in between the pages for the month! I'm so happy I started doing this because I have a young daughter and wanna keep track of everything I can while she's still young. I didn't get back into scrapping until about 7 months ago & I wish I would have been doing this from the very start!
My point is., for those of you out there that feel like your life is to boring for PL or you can't find the time, or don't wanna keep up with the daily to weekly must have LOs. Don't feel like that at all because PL can be anyway you want it to be .. Make it your own & have fun! Don't set limits.. I'm just really happy that I decided to start doing this album or I know I would have regretted it!
I just wanted to share my PL happiness with the lovely peas!! That's all ... |

This is exactly how I felt about a year ago, now I am doing the monthly review focused on the highlights. It works great for me and takes all the pressure off ...it is actually fun now, a lot less stressful, and that's how it should be, right?

I'm doing basically the same thing. When I went to print pictures for February, I had more than I realized. My life is not as boring as I thought it was!

I had something for every week in January, enough to do 4 2 page spreads, February came and was so eventless that I will be doing 1 2 page spread. Now that March is here I find that I am back to once a week so far. I am just taking it as the month deals it to me. I am printing the promo picture for Oz The Great & Powerful and the tickets for my date with my granddaughter yesterday. The point is I am making it work for me and how our life unfolds. |

I do something very similar as I don't set a 'time frame'. One divided page protector (front and back) might cover a week or 4 months. I just place them in with my regular layouts as often needed. I'd never be able to deal with everything being within a specific time frame (one week, one month). |

No.. No blog or photos. I will be posting some photos of my layouts and PL some time soon! The last time I tried to upload LOs for the first time I couldn't figure out how to take the pictures correctly without a glar or something cut out.. But I read a blog post about how to take photos of los so I'm gonna try to take some more & post them!! |

I did all of 2012 this way. And I was so thankful I did. I captured some everyday moments but mostly bigger events and occasions.
My thought on PL is that it's mine. My style. My life. Once I accepted that, the pressure went away! |
