If you look at youtube you will find a lot of inspiration, I especially like web page if you look at her videos from 2012, there a several where she show her pages, and at least one where she shows the proces |

Before giving up completely, have you considered going monthly instead of weekly?
You mentioned trying digitally as well. While I'm no digital artist, I do use PSE to arrange how I might include photos into a spread, and to take notes on things I will want to journal about. This helps me know what size to print my photos, and where in the layout I'll most likely place them.
I would love to see more products that are for the monthly PL (some called it Project 12). | |

I am getting my photos together as well and hopefully will get them edited today or tomorrow. I hope to have PL caught up and on track the first week in April. It will take me that long to finish the first 3 months. I am new at this and constantly change my mind. I am slowly getting in the groove. My problem is that when I watch all the videos, I doubt what I am doing and then want to change to a "clean & simple" approach that is until I see someone else doing some amazing embellishments and techniques and then I want to do it that way.  . |

I was 50 pictures behind (from November of 2012), and I ended up spending some quality time with my album, my Selphy and some supplies. It IS doable, I promise! 
I ended up printing out some quotes and using a few of the quote cards instead of something in my life every day, but it worked out.

I am behind. I am so far behind that I have no idea how far, maybe a month. I think I just did week 6or7.
I have been working on ways to organize paper.
Now I need to get back to PL. I think I let it go because I look at others PL and mine is plain and simple, but I am plain and simple, so you think that I would like it.
Yep, I am an over thinker.    |

I tend to keep things pretty simple with the album. But at times do embellish and add inserts. I have a 'catching up while staying current' plan where I will work on my incomplete album using left over supplies from PL 2013. Eventually I'll share those pages.
I suggest picking a few PL'ers that really grab your attention and follow them for inspiration. Be proud of the weeks you have completed!
