It's called Desgn Studio but I don't think you can buy it new any more and they will not be doing any software updates. I think they are doing content updates (new carts). There is a free web based program called the cricut craft room that provo craft is focusing on instead.

Design Studio does not work with the Mini.
If you see Make the Cut or Sure Cuts A Lot - they no longer work with the Cricut either.

With the Cricut Craft Room you can only cut images on cartridges you own. SCAL and MTC were forced to pull their software off the market by ProvoCraft. Those programs let you cut any font or image from your computer. Those who have the old versions can still use them with the Cricut, but they are no longer for sale.

I bought the software awhile back and it's still in the box. I've started using CCR instead and I really like it. I'm getting more mileage out of my cricut. They also have a weekly file for free that you can cut. I'm hoping it does as much as I want so I can avoid the urge I've been having to get a cameo.
