|Posted: 3/13/2013 6:12:31 PM|Seriously 2 years in a row my mom has bought me chipboard. I think I have it all! Raw, Basic Grey, adhesive, no adhesive, themed, flowers and even coasters. I have a drawer full of it and would like to use it up. Thoughts? Are the Garden Girls up to the chipboard challenge or should I just let my cat start playing with it?

I have rather more than ONE drawer full! Mostly of raw chipboard. I'd love some fresh ideas to use it as well.

I know a lot of ways to alter it but it still never seems to end up on my page. I like other dimensional embellishments... I don't know. But seeing things in videos seems to help me get inspired.

I would also love more ideas and motivation for using up my chipboard. I have raw, white and colored - some shapes and some letters. I also have a ton of grungeboard I need to use up. I have more than one large cubbie filled with the stuff.

Yes, new/more ideas would be great. I have slowed down in using it. I really like spraying raw chipboard with glimmer mist and now, my new favorite, Heidi's Color Shine sprays.

This is so me! I have the same drawer full of raw chipboard that I never use, because I'm too lazy to alter it when I'm in the middle of a layout. Maybe if I sat down with my pile of chipboard and all of my paints, mists, stamps, washi and whatnot, and just played, sort of batch processed them and made them into ready-to-go embellies, I would actually use them.

I thought I'd share two fun ways I recently used some.
Today's Seeing Double video I showed how to create a fun dimensional texture on a plain chipboard tag.
Then on this two page layout I covered some plain chipboard with American Crafts Glitter tape. I also think washi would be a fun easy way to spice up your plain chipboard too!
Happy Happy-Star layout
Hope that helps a tiny bit!

I just want some of it - need to get more. Chipboard became the rage while I was without a scrap room and I didn't buy any. I am SO behind!!
