I love the sequined products that have appeared over the past year or so. I have a few pre-sequined items like Heidi Swapps bows, and a few loose ones from embellishment packs and I love all things sparkly! Other than sewing them into vellum envelopes, how do you use these pretties? I'd love a way for them to find their way to my scrapbook pages, but am unsure how to best attach them. Thanks!

I use sequins like rhinestones...I usually attach them with a little dab of glue from my hot glue gun or just a bit of a good liquid glue.

I use them with a 'seed' bead for the center of flowers. The size of the flower will determine how many I use.

I don't mind sewing a bit so that works for me. I can do a few while watching TV and they are ready! When making them ahead of time I back them with a small circle of card stock that I can then glue to the layout later. (sew right through that)

Have fun

I adhere them with glossy accents if I don't feel like sewing them (which is usually). Sometimes I cover the hole with an itty bitty rhinestone.

I have a bunch of sequins in my old stash, so would love to try some of these ideas! Keep them coming!

I attach them with a dab of wet glue or with my tiny attacher. Here is a layout I did using sequins.

I've also been using them as I would rhinestones, pearls or enamel dots - just sprinkling them around the page in clusters or trails to lead the eye. I stick them with glue dots.

I just sewed a few randomly into lace that I used as a border on an oval photo mat for a very girly, old-fashioned album.

I'm not thrilled about sewing by hand, but sometimes a detail makes all the difference.
