Peas, has Green Tangerines in Rocklin disappeared? I did a search here but couldn't find anything. The website doesn't seem to exist, and the phone number is no longer in service. The Facebook page seems to be alive, though.

Anyone know what happened? I'll be making a rare trip up to that area at the end of the month and was hoping to visit the store.

Yes, I remember seeing that it had closed... I think it was in Feb that they lost their lease.
Very Sad, IMO.

ETA: Hope that they can reopen!

ETA2: I think I mixed details of two different stores in different states...oops. Sry

How SAD!! That was an amazing store! I remember first seeing Kinsey Wilson's work there (she was a former employee) and falling in love with her style! They had such an amazing selection, too!

I believe they closed down last November and the owner was moving to Colorado, but said she was thinking of doing some sort of online store.

They are gone. The owner moved out of state. It's a sad, sad thing. I have good memories though... Like kidnapping Kelly Goree and taking her there for her first visit

There is something in the works once the owner settles in her new home. I am hoping for a kit club myself.

Bummer. I've been there only one time, about 3 or 4 years ago, and thought it was huge! We're heading up to that area soon, so I was looking forward to visiting it again.

Are there any scrap stores between Sacramento and Placerville now? (I'm going to be staying on the 49, a little north of Placerville.)

There is a new store opening in Auburn called the Lazy Cowgirl. Not sure when it opens up, but the owner said sometime in March last time I spoke with her.

Yes, it is sad that it moved and closed and now we have no lss close anymore. Used to have 3 in town and now none. I've really missed it lately and keep hoping another opens sometime.

Yeah, it's closed.

My friends & I would drive up from the SF Bay Area and crop on their long crop weekends. So much fun! I'm bummed for us, but glad the owner gets to be near her family. It's hard to live far from your family (I know it is, I'm 1800+ miles away!)

Not a LSS, but Hobby Lobby opened in Roseville.
Am back from our visit and I cannot thank you enough for telling me about Hobby Lobby! I spent 1½ hours in just the paper aisle alone, loading up with their 50% sale! (Then I went back a few days later to load up some more!)

What a lovely store! Sure hope one opens up near where I live.
