I finished a layout, well I thought I did...but it seems like it needs something more...but I'm not sure what. So, I decided to put it away and move on, then hopefully come back to it and know what to do, but I keep thinking about it obsessively, I even pulled it out and tried something else that did not work!!! Does that ever happen to you???

I think about that with every page I have done after a day or two I think to myself forget I am moving on to my next layout.

Totally. I often leave a finished layout out over night and then come back to it the next day and tweak a few things before I put it in a page protector.

I leave my layouts out for sometimes up to a week afer I think I'm finished with it. Sometimes I end up adding more to it after I set it aside for a bit. I have had times posted it on my blog. After seeing it on my blog I decided it needed a little this or that.
Then tweak it and put up a new picture in the post.
I don't think your obessed. I think after you put it aside for a few days more ideas come to you that you want to add it on the page.

That is why I don't glue anything down and it takes me a week sometimes to complete a lo. Something either hits me as to what to do to make it work or I just put all the parts and pieces away and start something else. Usually, I figure it out and have only given up on a lo a couple of times.

I usually have the opposite problem. I usually think something needs to come off and it's usually just one thing that's really stuck down!

Yes, I've sometimes had layouts sitting for two or three weeks before I could figure out what they needed.

Thanks for all the ideas and suggestions Peas! I feel much better now. I am going to leave it for awhile and I feel good about the new layout I started. Hopefully, when I go back to it with fresh eyes I will know what to do!!

I have to put it away at that point. Otherwise, I wind up "forcing" something extra on to the LO, and 9 times out of 10, then I wind up hating it!
