I have a Canon Powershot and it drains the batteries quicker than I can put in new ones. Does anyone know of a battery that lasts longer.

what brand are you using? I saw a news report that looked at cheapie vs name brand batteries and all of the big names lasted way longer in digital cameras than the cheapie brands did.

My in laws buy cheapies at the dollar store and menards and they can't believe that I pay big bucks for the name brands. But I am always changing the cheapies so fast! I like energizer.

Name brand batteries last longer than the off brands. Nickle cadmium ones last longer than the alkaline ones....the also have a higher price tag.

Right now I am using Rayovac recharge. Do the recharges last long or not?

I have 2 Canon PSs and prefer using Energizer RE-chargeables, Duracell is good too. I only use name brands.

I love Sony Eneloop rechargeable. They're great for electronics.

Thank you! My DH and I are taking our grandson on a mini 4 day vacation this weekend, so I want to get some before then.
