I had to pick up a few things at the clothing store and found myself trying things on in shades I would never have chosen before, like the aquas and mint greens that are so big in scrapping right now. Am I unconsciously being influenced by all these luscious new product lines???

And yes, I bought my first pair of aqua pants and a cute little shrug to go with it.

it's actually the scrapping designers who are taking their cues from fashion trends. if you look at european design houses, you'll see these trends were somewhat nouveaux about 6 to 8 seasons ago. it's amazing how long some trends take to catch on in certain products. i say ride out your faves for as long as possible. i'm drooling over some mint converse at the moment.
