The winner of the Cocoa Daisy kit is....SASSIESCRAPPER!!!!!

Congrats!!! I already have your address in my peamail!

Hello Scrappers! Welcome to the THIRD set of scrapping challenges for MARCH!!!!!

I've decided to host a weekly challenge thread here at Two Peas. The more you play, the more chances you have to win a small scrapping goody from me (and some others who are donating prizes!!) and the more pages you will get done!

Please link up your creation in this thread for a chance to win and I will also have a challenge box you can check during the upload process.
Look for **Stash Busters Challenge**

**You can combine all these prompts. Each prompt you use is good for one chance to win...so use 3 prompts on one layout = 3 chances to win!***

We all like to get comments on our pages so if you are playing along please try to find the time to return the favor!

**********************************************************************

Prompt 2 is right up my alley this week, because I'm finally working on Christmas Day, the last day of that trip to Colorado I've been working on since probably January.

I can't post anything until tomorrow, because I'm using my DH's computer while mine is in shop getting a virus removed. That's why I did not post any last week, even though over weekend I made two that would have fit. But this week, I should be posting lots for Prompt 2!

Here is my LO for prompt #4. I was inspired by how she used scraps. Shimelle did something similar here with her kit scraps.

All of the squares are leftover from a Carta Bella kit I was working with for my mom's album.

I have finished two pages...woohoo

my first page is for prompt #1 (camera's) and for #5 (213..(3/11/13)prompt 3 embossing a design)

first photos

the second page was orginally for last week's critter challenge but I dropped the freshly inked wood veneer camera on the background, got disgusted and walked away...but I carefully ripped it apart and adhered to a new background. It works for prompt #1 (camera's) and again for #5 (213...{3.11.13} prompt 1:use craft).

You're a natural

p.s. I am really into stamping this week...breaking into the stamp stash!!!

Love seeing all the great work! I have a very busy weekend. My DGD's 10th birthday is today and between the 2 grandkids we have 5 soccer games. We are expecting snow and it is very cold so I think at least Sunday's 2 games will be cancelled. I need to work in some scrapping at some point.

I am very busy too! I am hoping to get at least one l/o done. I have my family for Easter dinner (19 this year) and the week or so before is always busy plus I haven't even unpacked my scrappy stuff from being away last weekend. I need to find some time to sit down and figure out how to use my Cricut Design Studio software (BY MYSELF!!!). Believe it or not my husband helped me the one and only time I've used it! He is the computer geek in our house. I need to cut out a title and that l/o will be for GG's challenge for making over your memoirs.

It's totally crazy, right? It snowed all afternoon yesterday and it was the second day of Spring!!!

I have my family for Easter dinner (19 this year)

That's a big dinner Kim! And a lot of work to get ready for. We don't really celebrate Easter around here in a big way....There will be baskets and an egg hunt (with eggs filled with lottery tickets and coins) and we usually set up a badminton net. Sometimes I make dinner and sometimes we order in something.

I've got a few layouts to photograph and upload.

When you posted this week's challenges I had actually just finished several Christmas Eve layouts and was awaiting the return of my computer from the PC Repair shop so I could type out and print journaling that needed to be added. This is one of those layouts. It's for DGS' book.

Christmas Eve

I more recently got to the same point with two Christmas Day layouts. I like to print out the journaling in batches, but I have a bunch of Christmas Day photos, most of which will be included in at least one grandkid's album as well as ours. So. once I get a few more Christmas Day layouts done, I'll be posting them - at least four to start with!

I really wanted to play this week but I'm not sure I'm going to be able to get my layouts finished in time. This whole week's drama has left me a bit sad about this board and my desire to scrapbook didn't flourish under those circumstances.

All soccer games cancelled this weekend except for tonight and it's indoors. That means..... you guessed it- SCRAPPING time!

Summerbellies, yes, it has been a WOW week. But I love this site and the things I disagree with are small potatoes compared to what I get out of it. Also I think it's helpful to remember that when someone complains we are only hearing their "facts". That's why I stay out of those discussions.

I'm not going anywhere!!!!! (I wonder how many exclamation points my keyboard has left.)

Summer, I believe this site, as with anything in life, is what you make it. I love to scrapbook and I am so thankful for Two Peas, for a community of scrapbookers. For a place to chat, for fun, instructional videos and a store to shop in!!!! I've read some of the "dramatic" threads and I'm now thinking that I won't anymore. Kind of like watching the 11 o'clock news and getting depressed. I hope you continue to scrap "with us". I think it was you that said that you've tried other challenge groups but you found this to be the nicest one. No drama here!!!!

Hello, ladies!

Sorry, I've been away but it's been crazy busy at work. Trying to prepare to facilitate a 5 week course. And based on some of the comments on this thread, might have been a good thing I was away.

@Marianne - holy moly that is an awesome prize! I was at a crop today and got some layouts mostly completed today. Hoping I can finish them and link them tomorrow.

@Summerbellies - sorry to hear about drama. That's the worst. Maybe it's better I don't know about it. I do so hate drama and mean people. Hopefully, it doesn't turn you off from scrapbooking or from 2peas. There are some nice people here. Stick to us. Just try to avoid the not-so-nice folks.

@JanGram - congratulations! Totally awesome!! And, I like exclamation marks too! Sometimes I'll go back and edit (in other words, delete them), but since folks on this thread don't seem to mind, I'll just keep using them!

Alright - left praise and now off to get some rest. Good night!

Here's probably my last for this week. But it's a 2-pager which I seldom do and it's also symmetrical which I do even less. I just couldn't get a design to work for me. When I saw the prompt to do the holiday LO, I thought I wouldn't do it because unlike most years I have them all done. Then I remembered that I was going to do a montage of the photos I take each year of the kids by the Christmas tree. TFL!

Happy
