Yeah, exactly the reason I buy as much as I do... Just in case it all comes to a crashing end I won't have to worry about where to get supplies!

That is EXACTLY why I buy what I want and like, especially paper, because I don't want to be trying to find a piece of fish paper 10 years from now.

My choice is to not take it personally - people have opinions. Particularly people here.-Peabay 12/29/11

It's not going out. It never will. It is just settling in from being totally and completely saturated for the first several years.

That doesn't mean you shouldn't hoard more paper, though. LOL

So true. It has been around a long time. I think for some at least for me, I had to take a break. Had 2 babies to take care. Now that they are 4&5 and I get a little free time here and there I am back in the SB world full force.

Frozen Pea as of 11/15/2013 Goal: Complete 100 pages & 50 cards before purchasing SB items.

My scrap bunker is well-stocked in the event of the end of scrapbooking as we know it

I think I need to dip into my stash of scrappy supplies to make a framed sign for the door to my new scraproom: "The Scrap Bunker"!

After all, it is located in a corner of the basement so it is kinda like an underground bunker. And believe me, there is enough in there to scrapbook my life 5 or 6 times over LOL! I don't think I could use it all if I live to be 120.

I think it's still popular enough for me to easily build up a lifetime supply before the end arrives for good.

You know, if I don't already have that much.

Nada, I think it is leveling out. Most of the gals who opened all those LSS's were just paper lovers and wanted it all. I thank them from the bottom of my scrappin heart.

BTY, on a trip to Columbus Ohio I stopped in Circleville OHio to go to the pottie and there was the cutest little LSS. they had stuff I hadn't seen before, so I've been back there twice!!!!

I have been scrapbooking since 1966, albeit, not with archival paper till the 90's.

I will use most of my paper in CH's that hold 400 sheets each and I have 10-12 of them!!!!! Let's do the math 400 X 12 = 4800 sheets on hand, not including some stacks Or what get in the future. Surely, I will need more.

Ladies who have ventured off to quilting....duh it is the patterns...they are beautiful!!!! My mom quilts, I loved going shopping with her.

So, as long as I have paper, pens, adhesive and photo's we know how to make embellishments out of ANYTHING so we are set. OH Yea, we will need 2Peas so we can swap what we are in need of. Especially with all the hoarders around here

You were joking weren't you?

I was scrapping like a mad woman today (pure bliss, I might add) and I was thinking about this very thing. *IF* scrapbooking as we know it is evolving as some say into the more simple PL book style, then there will still be a need for papers, cards, etc. to go in those unless people buy kits totally which would seem to me (to be totally frank) BORING. I highly doubt there is any cause for panic - scrapbooking is HUGE and I think it's long from dead. That being said, I will be stocking up! Bwahhhh haa haaaaaa!

I don't know. Peas here always talk about the old days and sticker sneeze. Yet I'm always amazed at how BIG the sticker the area is in my Boys Name store!
