I want to. I've never been. I wonder is it too late to get tickets?
....you have to get tickets, right?

You can buy tickets at the door or online! I am going in the morning. We are actually headed out of town for spring break but I told my husband I would not go unless he promised to stop on our way through Salt Lake! My daughter is excited because she gets to go in with me while everyone else has to wait. I'm so excited!

Yeah, you'll need a ticket - but you can get them at the door. Or their website: http://www.scrapbookusaexpo.com/index.html

staciroo - Where are you coming from?

I was going to go but a visit to the doctor on Wednesday ruined those plans. My leg which I broke in December has not healed at all and I have to have surgery on it so no scrappy purchases for me for awhile. At least I have enough stuff to keep me occupied while I heal.

Well I broke down and went anyway. It was ok but not as good as past years. I really could not find that much to buy. I did not take any classes so I hope those were good for those that went.

My classes (3) are all tomorrow. Of course, I'm now not feeling well I checked the website and it said I should be able to just pick up the class kits - I'm crossing my fingers I can pick up all 3 at one time and then go back home for a nap .

I didn't make it this time, but I'd love to hear how the rest of you liked it. Any good deals, particularly interesting booths, etc?

a. The parking lot was PACKED. There was also a healthy living expo, and a stones (jewelry?) one going on next door. I just parked far away and walked.

b. The classes weren't busy at all. I missed my first one, but went to the second, it was the same teacher as my first, so I was able to get my kit. My last class of the day only had eight people signed up! I found the teacher and got my kit early though.

c. Lots and lots of "kits" - some were super cheap ($3) but really, I'm not a kit type scrapper so I wasn't very excited for them.

d. There were a lot of direct sales - velata (scentsy), thirty-one, etc.

Overall, I'm not sure I'll go next year. While I did like the classes I think I'd rather do my own Stampin Up consultants monthly groups. You have to pay the ticket + the classes price, if I could just pay the price of the class I would do that. Being on 2peas (and a Close to my Heart consultant) spoils me.

I went, as I always do. Shopping was somewhat different. I got some great deals from Fancy Pants, echo park/carta bella, Simple Stories, DCWV. Did't buy from Basic Grey or SEI or MME because I stocked up from them last time LOL. I took two fabulous classes from Simple Stories and one really really good one from SEI. They were worth every penny for the product and giveaways received. I got two 6x8 albums done and 12 two page spreads. To each his own, I guess.

Oh yes, the classes were fantastic. The kit I picked up from My Craft Channel was WELL worth the price. It was around $40, and even not staying for the class time I was way impressed. The teacher was excellent. Same with the other two classes -- I'd do them again in a heartbeat.
