It looks like some people are already getting their HSN kits....wanna share the details with all of us who are still waiting?? Are you pleased with the kits so far? Are they as beautiful as they look online?

And if you want to share, what do you plan on using your kits for? I know I could use some inspiration on how to use up all these PL goodies I am "collecting" .

For me, I actually do have plans for these two kits...which is certainly not always the case when I buy scrappy goodies. I am using Jade for PL 2014 and Blush for my nieces' albums.

I got mine yesterday, I like it, I think it's pretty. I got the blush and I am anxious to get started, just waiting on the card stock. I think everyone will be very pleased with it. I did the auto ship and I can't wait for them to arrive.

I am using mine to record the year with my family. Doing it week by week.

MandKsMom - getting new supplies that I love always inspires me to get started! My problem is that I need to figure out how to bottle that up, so that it doesn't take shopping to inspire me .

How are the colors/design in person? Do the colors seem true to the online pics and videos at HSN?

I don't know where they shipped from (I'm in Illinois, I thought HSN was in Florida), but mine has been from the US (somewhere) to Ontaria, CA, and is now back in the US!

Mine has been 'stuck' in TN for a few days. Hoping I am surprised today and the UPS truck comes. I bought both kits and will use one for 2013 and one for 2011 which I have not scrapped yet. I do them monthly which is how I have always done scrapbooks. I do the dividers for the month and the pages that follow will all be that month. I don't break the layouts down to weeks like a lot of people do. It is just a chronological look at the month and overall the year. Can't wait to get mine!

They ship from TN...
I opened up my box & can I just say OMG!!! I am in LOVE with the blush kit! It is so beautiful, so much nicer in person... The colors are the same as pictures and tv good match their.. I absolutely love it & now I'm excited to scrap with it.. I feel like its soooo much better then the seafoam kit I have.. A Ton more designs and details.. Cute hearts and quotes! I haven't compaired the two kits yet to see if blush has more different designed cards but from the looks of it .. It does! I'm so happy with my purchase! I can't WAIT for the autoship kits as well... The only thing I wish was different is the PL box the seafoam kit came in a really nice magnetic closure box and the blush kit doesn't have that but the box is still really nice quality!!

My Jade kit just arrived and I am very happy. I am new to PL and think these colors will work great for my family (2 sons).

The only thing I didn't realize was that so many of the cards have the same pattern...not a problem, just a "I didn't realize" moment.

I think it was a great value and I hope to get started right away.

Mine is scheduled to arrive today, but I'm at work so I hope it's there when I get home! I have started PL twice and both times stopped at about 2 months! I get behind and then give up! Daily is just too much! So I think I want to try a month at a glance approach and scale it down! That way I will have lots of extra product from this kit and the other 2 I already have to use with my regular scrap booking! The journal card are great on a regular page!

Received the Jade kit and I love it! The colors look like they did in the previews and this will work well for my family ( 2 boys). I plan on using this for my yearly album. There are so many more card choices than earlier kits too.

Mine shipped from Ontario, California, so that is only about a 4 hour drive for me, so I am close by. My other items seem to be shipping from IL and TN, they are taking forever, they are not scheduled to arrive until next Wednesday, ugh, I want it here faster!!

Just got the blush kit an hour ago and so excited. The colors to me are not as bright and very versatile for some. I know a lot of mothers of boys were chatting about not liking the bright colors. I honestly would have loved for more color pop, but I do love the kit and excited to wrap it for my DD's 6th birthday. I am even more excited because I know there will be tons of cards left and that means I get to have some.

I ordered the Jade too and that should be here tomorrow. Btw did anyone notice how the paper felt? Felt thinner, but I am going to pull out the baby kit I have to compare. Might just be me, but they fell lighter in weight. Anyway still happy.

Yes! I noticed that too it felt thinner.. Not for nothing but how much thinner can you get it's sooo thin as is.. That's my ONLY complete with all of BH products is how thin those cards are! I would be over joyed if those cards were as thick as the SC PL cards.. OMG that would be amazing.. But I dout it would ever happen! The price would be too high! I'm thinking maybe the papers are different because she switched to AC.. Don't know but it feels slightly thinner then my seafoam kit I have!

I just got my Jade kit and the colors are what I expected and I am happy with it. The cards are thinner than I was expecting but not sure if they are really thinner I am just spoiled with the newer CTMH paper that is so thick. Honestly though once they are in the protectors though they will be fine. I forgot how many duplicate cards there are - there are 9 each of the smaller cards and I am not sure how many duplicates of the larger ones. I haven't pulled out the page protectors - I know the ones I bought on Amazon in December weren't as nice as the ones a few years ago - not all the smaller spaces are the same size and sometimes the cards need to be cut smaller - not a huge deal but irritating just the same.

No idea when my Blush kit will get her it is in TN and just getting out of the warehouse today - I know so many people had said things went out withing 48 hours and I am not a happy camper about this but at least it has finally shipped. I hope to get more infor tomorrow as to when it will really get here. I think the other one came from Ontario Ca for it got here fast - today.

I also am looking forward to the mini albums - I plan to use those for gifts and I think they will be a big hit but I won't have to spend months creating them like I do with normal gift albums so I am really looking forward to them. I really wish the June and December ones were switched though as I would like to use the December one for a Christmas gift but oh well. I really can't wait for the September one - I think it will be perfect for our summer vacation photos - just like they planned.

I got mine today! I first ordered jade (auto ship) and then later in the day decided to get blush as well (as is, no auto ship). I got the JADE and l love the core kit! I might not use the brown binder, would probably go with a green one to go with the green theme.

Things i like:
- colors are great
- plastic sleeves seems much more transparent and clear compared to the previous plastic that i ordered last year for my turquoise core kit.
- divider is not labelled with months which makes it much versatile
- there are more designs, on my turquoise the 3x4 used to have about 20 designs @ 25 duplicates and with the jade you get 50 designs @ 10 duplicates.

Things i don't like much:
- brown binder, would have been nice if given the option to go with the jade green binder as shown on CHA catalog
- felt the cards are thinner but compared it with my turquoise, seemed almost the same thickness

overall, really love it!

Still waiting for the blush kit.

My turn to hit the PEAnata!!!

I got my kit yesterday, it's the first time diving into PL, and I think I'm just gonna jump in starting April 1

I have to admit that I'm less than satisfied over the thickness of the cards, but it's not a big deal. As another poster mentioned they'll be just fine once they are in the page protectors.

With my very first PL kit (in 2010), I was surprised at how thin the cards were. But after making my own kit one year, I realized was an advantage this was. They look the same in the page protectors. However, the thinner cards don't add as much bulk, so you are able fit quite a bit more layouts in an album. I think the cards are purposefully designed thinner, so that you can fit 52 weeks in one album.

I haven't received the kit yet.

I don't plan on doing PL/365 pictures a year. I plan on scrapping 03/2012 photos - current photos this way. Other plans I have; youngest ds's pictures, school, and travel albums. I like some of the PL ideas and may do themed pages based on those ideas but there's no way I'll remember to take a picture every single day of the year.

I have a lot of printable PL cards saved on my computer that I will use as well.

got my Jade in today! It is beautiful. Colors were great. I had the same reaction as someone above, didn't realize a lot of the patterns repeated, but i don't mind either. I can use them in my regular pages as well as the PL. Oh! and it is my first time doing PL. excitment!!

I received my Jade kit today. I really like it. It is my first Tv purchase and was super nervous. I am not doing a day by day but catching up. My new years resolution was to print more pics rather then leave them on my computer. I hope this simple style takes the scrapbook pressure off and I can enjoy scrapping again.
