Is there a way to put two plastic sleeves together, back-to-back? A lot of times I want one design on one side, but don't have the right type of photos to use the same design on the other side.

I have also seen others just add patteren paper or cardstock to the back side ... Or add a few filler cards in between.. I often have the same trouble but since I do month to month and not daily or weekly ill just re arrange my photos to fit & if I can't I either print new ones in the sizes needed or cut them down to size! I print at home so its very easy for me to print another photo in the middle of a project! I must say my recent photo printer purchase and pse 11 was one of the best investments I have made!

I would think over time that would add a lot of bulk to your albums. Have you tried cutting the photos to fit the available spaces? In other words, cut a horizontal 4x6 photo in half and put it in 2 vertical 3x4 slots, etc. That's how I get past this problem.

I'm switching my page protector style up often but I'm just planning in advance before printing my photos. If I know I need a specific style on one side - I print photos that will fit. For vertical photos, I make them 2 up on a 4x6 so they'll be 2x3.
Are you using photos already printed?

Because I don't do weekly LOs, I simply choose which LO will go next based on what will work with the back of the current page protector.
I also sketch mine out ahead of time.
When I'm really in a bind and the 2 LOs I want to go back to back just don't work with the typical pocket pages, I use one with one large pocket, then I just do a scrap style portion of the page for that pocket and I can accommodate both vertical & horizontal pics in one pocket.

I only use design A for this reason. I mainly use square phone photos in PL though, so it's only come up a few times that I have a portrait orientation photo. In those cases, I've either shrunk it down to fit in a 2x3 pocket, cropped it to 4x4 square, or blown it up to 6x8 and cut it apart to fit in the pockets.
This year I want to switch the designs around some (my book runs April to April) so I'm switching to digital for PL.
