I love to buy stamps but tend to use them more for making cards. What sets do you buy (other than date stamps) just for your LO's and how do you actually use them?

I see lots of scrappers using AE's stamps (Technique Tuesday) on their layouts. There are old free 2 Peas classes by former Garden Girls like Nichol Magouirk who did videos like "Scrapbook Stamping" and she used lots of those on her layouts. Even if some of the TT specific stamp sets are no longer available, you can still see ideas on how to include them on your pages. They are great videos!
Other current Garden Girls use stamps on their layouts quite a bit as well! That's where I start for inspiration.

I have one set from AE... it has sentiments with arrows on it. They go great for the inside of cards or your pages.
I just got some lilybee stamps. It has single words like memories, captured, today, here and now....
I like to add those near my images. Usually one word stamps are good for me. I just ordered some from a company the 2peas doesn't sell and it has epic, awesome, today, ect...

I gravitate toward versatile, non-themed stamps, such as journaling, lined, etc. My favorite manufacturer is Catslife Press, & I prefer wood-mounted rubber.

I determine the stamp by the size of the stamp and page accent/ journaling block or whatever. It has to be the right size to work with my layout.
I have clustered together small stamps on a journaling block to create a perfect accent for a page. I don't have one set of AE's stamps although there are several on my wishlist, I just haven't purchased any yet.

I bought very few stamps just for layouts, but my "go-to" stamps period are my star, flower and swirl stamps. And since I live in California, my beach stamps when I am doing beach layouts.
I use them a lot of ways. I somewhat prefer to stamp an image, cut it out, and adhere that to my layout. But that doesn't mean I never stamp directly onto the layout.

I've put together a small, easily packed, all-purpose "stamp kit" with my favorite go-to alphas and inks for crops, so I'm never without my creativity tools for layout title inspiration!
