I have all my mists in the top tray of my Harbor Freight spinner rack right now, but I'm thinking of moving them to one of the shallow drawers of my IKEA Alex cart so it'll be easier to find the color I want.
Has anyone stored these laying horizontally before? Did they leak or clog?

Would there be room to put them on some sort of angled tray, so they are mostly lying down, but their tops are slightly elevated?

Didn't do it on purpose, but found one knocked over and yes, it leaked.

I found that OA mists leaked. Mr. Hueys was yes for the white, nor for the dark brown. The old Glimmer Mists did not leak nor did the perfect pearls mists. I did not find that laying them on their side caused any of them to clog.

I'm sorry to hear that they leak. Storing them horizontally would help me too. I have quite a number of mists and haven't figured out how to store them so that I can easily find the color I want.

I tried storing them on an angle in my shallow Alex drawer but didn't like how they fit and moved when I opened the drawer.
I took them out and now store them in a wooden bow on my desktop. I took avert circle label stickers and sprayed a sample of each mist colour into it and then glued them to the top of the kids so I could see what I had easily.

My white one leaks even when I have it on an angle spraying. It's a pain. I store them on a shelf upright. I had a big problem with Mister Huey's leaking. I ordered a box of 100 of them for my shop and most of them leaked in transit...so AC replaced them all.

I also keep mine I the harbor fright spinner, but I punched out a cardstock circle spritzed with the color and glued it on the top. I can now see the actual color, which looks different than the bottle.

I have drawers for my expedit and they fit in perfectly! I wouldn't put them on their sides as one of mine fell over by mistake and leaked!

My smooch mist fell over on its side and leaked all over my table. I wouldn't intentionally place any mist on its side.
