with the names of your family members? I'm working on PL and find myself wishing I had a name stamp for every one of my family members because I keep running out of vowels and using alpha stamps take too long!
Who makes custom stamps anyway? They are probably expensive but in the long run they would pay themselves off.

Check your local office supply store -- they may be cheaper than you think. I know when I've ordered stamps for work they usually aren't that expensive.

I've had one stamp made, and it wasn't expensive. I ordered mine years ago through an LSS, The Goose Barn (IL) they still order them for customers.

I have done that for when my kids were little and needed to send thank you notes or to put their name on something. I never thought about using them for PL!

CTMH use to offer custom made stamps in their catalog. I haven't seen their catalog in a long time, but maybe someone else can comment. It was always at the beginning of the catalog. Great idea!

I ordered stamps former my own designs from rubberstamps.net. I first read about it on This blog.
I made a library stamp and an address stamp, but I've thought about making some for my kids.

Etsy sellers make stamps. One I wanted was a little expensive but it was a perfect rendition of a cactus my parents had in their front yard in the 60's.

I remember that there were several sellers. You could search there, too.

I have had name stamps made at a local office supply store - I did it for dd's teachers 8 years ago when she was in middle school.

Great idea, by the way - I spend hours creating names and a stamp would be mere seconds!

It is fun to make unique stamps with different fonts and original designs. It brings me joy!

I ordered one for my wedding from eBay. Then a co-worker did the same. It cost around $7 including shipping and worked out great. There were a limited number of designs, but I was able to work with it, choosing a design that I liked, then using the words that I wanted.

I was thinking of ordering another one for Project Life, because I want some stamps for monthly items (most of the stamps are for weekly).
