|Posted: 4/6/2013 6:09:51 PM|Does anyone else have this issue with their silhouette software not responding? Mine keeps freezing up and I have to restart it therefore I'm loosing my work. It happens a lot after I highlight and click the trace feature/function. It's happening almost every single time I use it. I'm thinking it's my computer but I'm not sure.

Is the file you are tracing a super high size - not "measurement" size, but bits and bytes size? It could be that your computer doesn't have enough memory to hand those.

My repeated issue is opening the software only to have it non-respondant to begin with- I usually try to show the mat 1st thing and it doesnt work, then it won't open the library. After I shut it down, it will re-open properly, but it happens about every 3rd time I use it.

I had this happen recently with a shape that I purchased from the store. Every time I tried to use it, the software froze up on my and I had to restart the program. In the end, I couldn't use the shape. I contacted Silhouette and it turned out that there was actually a problem with the shape itself. They redesigned it, told me when I could redownload it and it worked perfectly. No more freezing issues.
