Does anyone else have this issue with their silhouette software not responding? Mine keeps freezing up and I have to restart it therefore I'm loosing my work. It happens a lot after I highlight and click the trace feature/function. It's happening almost every single time I use it. I'm thinking it's my computer but I'm not sure.

Is the file you are tracing a super high size - not "measurement" size, but bits and bytes size? It could be that your computer doesn't have enough memory to hand those.

That could be it. I haven't thought about that.

My repeated issue is opening the software only to have it non-respondant to begin with- I usually try to show the mat 1st thing and it doesnt work, then it won't open the library. After I shut it down, it will re-open properly, but it happens about every 3rd time I use it.

I had this happen recently with a shape that I purchased from the store. Every time I tried to use it, the software froze up on my and I had to restart the program. In the end, I couldn't use the shape. I contacted Silhouette and it turned out that there was actually a problem with the shape itself. They redesigned it, told me when I could redownload it and it worked perfectly. No more freezing issues.
