I know the laws of supply and demand really well, but I can't help but be slightly aghast that people are selling SC kits for 75 bucks plus shipping. I mean, I get it- make a lil extra money but wow.... I dunno just my opinion though.

Hey, if people want to pay it... let em.

6 years ago, I sold 3 PS2's ? (I can't even remember what game console it was) .... made enough to fund our christmas. It was awesome.

No one is sticking a gun to anyone's head forcing anyone to buy.

There were boxes of twinkies and ding dongs going for $30 on ebay. That, was hilarious.

& I CAN'T believe someone would really pay that price.. To me that's CRAZY!! I would NEVER pay that price for paper and stickers or stamps!! Especially considering their kits aren't even jammed packed with things.. I still can't believe the prices people sell the stamps for like $15 for a little tiny stamp? Really? I know its exclusive to that kit only but geez $15 for a 2x2 stamp is crazy to me..

There have been threads about this before. I just think of it in the same way I think of many other things I don't agree with--I would not do it myself (buy or sell at that price, I mean), but I also will not judge those who do, because it in no way affects me. (Mind you, I might feel different if I was a subscriber who missed out on an add-on, or on the wait list, or something, haha!)

It's capitalism at its finest. As long as there are people willing to pay who wouldn't sell? The blame runs with the buyers IMO. Sellers are just selling.

Just the craze for those toys that they have to have for their kids.

"A fool and his money are soon parted". That is the first thing that enters my mind when I see/hear of these things. The second? None of my business, as long as they aren't asking me to put bread on their table, pay for their kids' college, etc.

It really aggravates me too every time I see it. I could not in good conscience sell a kit for that much. I would feel like I was taking advantage of my fellow peas.

If they want to overspend let them. It's just lazy. If they took any time or effort they could make their own kits and save the money.

I was curious the other day and looked up the SC kits that had been sold. They went for $10-more than double the kits original price. Other have said, and I agree "If someone will pay it, let them." There is no way I would spend $75+ on a single kit even if it was filled with the supplies I love/want the most.
