I purchased this for Christmas and really love playing with it. Do you like yours, what have you created?

I haven't purchased this -- yet, but ordering one has been at the back of my mind for awhile. Are you using yours for art journaling? That's what I'd use it for. What size did you get, and if it was the 6x6, do you wish you had gotten one of the larger sizes?

I do use mine for art journaling. Although, I'm not much of a journaler. I got the 8x10. My journal is 9x12 so I always wish my plate was that size. I have been considering getting the 6x6 just to do smaller prints on my pages, but haven't convinced myself yet. I really love playing with it. I have to do more with the pages I make, so I'm thinking in those terms now and what to do. But it is so fun! There a lot of youtube videos you watch and learn from . and a lot of samples on pinterest. Here is my board of samples I have collected and a few I have done.

OK, why did I open this thread? I never heard of Gelli Art Plates before. I just googled it and watched a demo. Now I want one! I see they even come in 12" x 14" now- big enough for a full size scrapbook page!

I watched a bunch more Gelli Plate videos on youtube. Since I do art journaling too, I just HAD to get one. Although it is more expensive, I ordered the 12 X 14 size so I could use it with 12 x 12 scrapbook pages. Can't wait for it to arrive! I like the idea of using the created designs for die cutting and punching too.

I've been wanting to get one. First saw it on my LSS's Facebook page. Like others, I'm just trying to decide on which size to purchase.

I'm thinking that I'm going to have to tell my kids that this is what I want for Mother's Day!
And I'm thinking I want to get the big one, I'm sure I can use it to do smaller sizes if I want, or just do 12 x 12 and cut it down to size.
I've loved watching the videos about it.

It only took me 1 video and I had to have one. I love playing with it. I may order the 6x6 too to do small sections. you can also lay out your cuttlebug/sizzix embossing folders and use them for print patterns. I have just found so much to use on it and I love playing with it. Once you all get to playing with them , maybe we can do a swap on pages.
|Posted: 4/15/2013 8:49:18 PM|Oh! I want one! I think I can be satisfied with a 6 x 6 for now! I want to look at more video on youtube but am worried that I'll NEED the 12 x 14 if I do!
