My HSN PL blush kit came and the pack of bigger cards looks cut wrong. About a third of the pack is about 1/2inch smaller than the rest. I called HSN and they resent another kit. I opened it up and found the same thing.
Am I missing something? Did this happen to anyone else? I emailed BH from the PL page but no response yet. I don't really want to ship back another kit in hopes I get one that is cut right...

Mine are the same. The scored cards are smaller. I think when you fold them, they should fit in the 3x4.

That's because the cards that are at the beginning of the pile are the folded cards and they are scored in the center..to be folded to create a 3x4 card so you have extra room to journal.. So its like a mini card that opens and closes that you could slip into the pocket open the card read whats in it and close it And slip it back into its pocket! Those cards are a bit smaller then the regular 4x6 cards so that's why they look off to you.. Theirs technically nothing wrong with your kits! HTH

The folded cards offer more journaling room and also the ability to hide your journaling if so desired.

I didn't realize the kit came with the folding ones. I guess I need to actually use the kit. I guess I just don't journal enough as I never used the folding cards in the original kits either though so I don't really see myself using them and wish they just had the regular ones. I will do a lot of journaling for other pages just not for this style of scrapping.

I have used the folding journal cards as a base, and adhered a 4x4 photo so that combined they fit in a horizontal 4x6 pocket. I end up with a 4x4 photo, and about 2x4 worth of journal space, and you don't see the fold.
I hope that makes sense - just another option if you don't think you need/want to use them as intended.

Yep, those are the "bi-fold journaling cards". I love using it to include a recipe - either a new one we have tried or a family recipe that has been passed down through the generations. I just put a picture of the food on the front and an arrow to indicate that the recipe is inside.

I have only used 1 folded card so far and that's because I wanted to add something in my album.. But I always wanted it to be private so I just wrote on the inside and folded it over added some washi and embellished on the front and it looks nice! I'm the only one that knows its their and I like it
