|Posted: 4/24/2013 10:08:01 PM|I am new to the whole PL idea, buying my 1st kit from HSN. I was thinking this was going to be a "simple" approach to scrapbooking! Now have added the MAMBI card sets and some others from M's. Looks like there are lots more companies who are making the PL kind of product? Of course now I want to collect all the different kinds of cards and page protectors before I even start, so I'm sure I have a big selection of stuff to use. How many different companies have jumped on the PL bandwagon?? This will become addicting I'm sure!

Simple stories have some items that you could definitely use for PL

|Posted: 4/24/2013 10:19:55 PM| I still have some EK Success/Pebbles "cut offs" (they were the smaller mates to the Overalls page toppers). LOL yes I have been scrapbooking awhile. Anywhoo, I was going through my stash tonight and found them and kind of laughed to myself that they were way ahead of their time with the new PL craze. I may actually pull some out and use them.

Just got some of the MAMBI items the other day, and I really like them. I really like thicker paper, but these are so stinking cute! I use a bunch of them last night!
The greatest gift of all was given at Christmastime....

Becky Higgins and American crafts have project life products.
There are other companies that make divided page protector products too.

|Posted: 4/27/2013 12:48:02 AM|Honestly? Almost every manufacturer has been coming out with patterned paper that includes some type of cut apart 3x4 journaling cards or 4x6 pieces or even pre-cut 3x4 cards. There are even numerous manufacturers now making the Design A style of protector that Becky Higgins started.
It can all get overwhelming and confusing quick if you're new to Project Life. I do PL with no kit from Becky, I only use my stash of scrapbook supplies which includes many of those papers, like this one by Echo Park...
In fact, I'm so addicted to these that they're pretty much all I buy now, as far as paper goes. I'm up to about 50!! (at least)
I also bought 2 styles of the MAMBI cards and one little pad of the SNAP 3x4 cards. I can already see that my PL stash could get out of hand quick!!!!!

6 x 6 paper pads with their smaller prints are perfect to use as backgrounds for photos and for embellishments for PL.
