What are yours?

I'm scrapping some of my honeymoon photos - we had three weeks in French Polynesia - that's a lot of beach! I have plenty if stories to tell but I'm finding that I am using the same colour combo over and over - blue, green, yellow and Kraft/brown.

Now don't get me wrong, I like that scheme and have varied it up with different tones etc. but I would love to know what your go-to colour scheme is for this type of photo?

White I'm a big fan of white space - literally - and feel it shows off anything pretty well. Other than that I would probably find myself using softest blue/green or pale sand colours.

Today, I will be colouring outside the lines.

Would coral work in for you? I like it for a pop here & there.

Like PatiN, I would add a pop of coral or orange or hot pink.
They are opposite the color wheel from the blues and greens so it adds a bit of contrast, interest and energy.

You could also add some darker shades of your current colors to mix it up - a bit of chocolate brown, navy or shamrock green - depending on the layout.

I wouldn't worry about having a similar color scheme all the way through the pages. It makes for a cohesive feel and it complements your photos.

i recently scrapped several beach photos in my Seeing Double video and used aqua yellow, and red...along with plenty of white! I think it's good to add in a pop of contrasting color like red or coral or pink!

I only am really doing California beaches that much, but in summer I like orange and turquoise or red and turqoise a lot for these.

I agree about the pop of coral.
Look HERE for an unusual color combo.

Also, I have same paper on a page in my blog HERE.

Scrapbooking is not an addiction, it's a subculture.
